I have a Konica bizhub c351 with and error code of c0211. I took the back off and played with the black motor that lifts the tray. The tray moves freely and the motor seems to move freely. When I turn the machine on it does not go through any kind of check like it did before it just goes to the same screen. Is there a way to reset this to get it going again to test if there is still a problem

check the bypass is lift up down the lift manually

This sounds like you have a piece of paper behind tray one.
1. Turn the machine off
2. Take out tray 1
3. Remove paper
4. Insert tray
5. Turn back on


If that doesn't help, you have and issue with the paper pick up motor. This is 99% of the time not the issue. The paper behind the tray is most likely your problem.

c0211 = Manual tray rise decent error - check PC14 lift up sensor, M2PC tray 2 vertical transport motor and also the tray 2 control board

this error code means that tray 3 paper could not lift up to the feed rollers. open the tray and check the paper tray and checkthat the paper is loaded correctly pull all the paper out of the tray and check to see if any is folded or crumpled if the paper is ok it could be the lift motor has failed or the main boardPF or main boardMC or the dc power supply needs to be replaced.

It's called "Manual Bypass paper lifting failure". The manual says to check Tray 2 vertical transport motor. Check the wires to see if the are okay. Pull out tray 2, remove back cover, remove wire assembly from 4 wire saddles, remove 2 screws and the motor assembly. The should be 2 motors on the assembly and the one u need to look at is the bottom one. hope this helps.

This is a rank B error. To reset follow these steps:
Open and close the front door.
If error recurrs check the manual bypass again or call for service.

It means Bypass Lifting Motion Failure, check pick-up solenoid and lift up sensor.
Reboot machine holding down utility button, then do trouble reset, if nessesary reboot again.
If this error occurs again, you have to call for service
