I just upgrade to Window 7, to my ACER AspireOne Netbook. Successful install with no problems. I have Acer X163W Monitor to use with my Acer Netbook, before install Win 7, I was able to setup the monitor resol at 1268x768. Now with Window 7 it only goes 1040x600 ex. How can I get the Acer X163 driver for the monitor to work with Window 7 setting at 1268X768?

Consider what data you still need from your Acer AspireOne's hard drive. Save the files to an external USB device.

Restart the Acer AspireOne's operating system. Wait for the Acer logo to appear on the LCD screen.

Press the "Alt-F10" keys at the same time to bring up the recovery menu. Press "Enter."

Click "Next." Follow the prompts that appear on the screen to restore the operating system back to factory settings.

Use the drop-down boxes to select the time zone and language information for your Acer AspireOne. Restart the netbook when you are prompted to finish restoring the computer.

Connect the external USB device to your Acer AspireOne and transfer the data you saved earlier back to the netbook.

You may need to update the drivers for the computer, newer installations of windows or windows update fixes this problem

Check to see if you have any dust, or grim by the buttons. I cant recall if this monitor's buttons are touch sensitive or not, but a good cleaning to make sure they are not stuck should clear the issue right up for you!

if your computer is 5 yrs or older it might not support windows 7 also you will need a minimum of 1 GB of RAM for 32 bit or 2GB of RAM for 64 bit to install windows 7

Your only solution is to have the laptop keyboard replaced.

i use acer aspireone 722 netbook i dont no what the problem the online watch video is very slow motion ply ane audio correct but video problem only

You need to check the VGA cable, make sure the connectors are seated properly, also try this monitor with another PC first to make sure it is not the video card problem in the PC. We need to narrow down the problem first since we do not want to open up the monitor if we have too.
Most common failure in the monitors are due to bad caps.
