This might help you.

Otherwise I need more information:
When did it start - after install, after update, after changing some components or something else? Does the message state in which driver did the error occur?

Those error codes don't really mean very much to the general consumer, but blue screens of deaths are caused by bad RAM memory in your computer, not viruses. I'm going to take a guess that your computer is either several years old and/or it constantly get quite warm? Heat can shorten the life of computer components by quite a bit. You may need to get one of your RAM cards replaced to solve this issue.

There's a free program called Memtest86 that you can run to determine if this is the case. It will scan all your memory and look for bad sectors. You can download it here: http://www.memtest86.com/ and burn it to a CD. What it does is create a bootable CD that will execute the program as the computer turns on to scan all the memory. There are full instructions on their website. The process can take an hour or two depending on how much memory your computer has, and if it turns up any bad sectors then you know what your problem is.

A computer can run with bad sectors in the memory, but it makes it unstable that it will keep bluescreening, so if you have bad sectors in your memory it might be better just to replace the RAM. Luckily, this isn't too expensive. For instance, if your computer has 4GB of memory, it probably has 2 2GB RAM cards installed. You can get a 2GB replacement notebook memory for, I'd say $30 or $40. Installing RAM is very simple, and if you're willing to install it yourself, it won't cost you more than that.

I keep getting this stop error after Windows loads?!

Seriously, contact Toshiba Tech Support. Give them the information you put up here. If you need to you can use a PC in the local library, or a friend's PC, to contact them. Or, just call them on the phone.

Have you tried going into Safe Mode?

Error code 53000:031e stop:0x0000007E COMPUTER WIIL NOT BOOT UP

hi there !

-boot to SAFE MODE
-restart the computer and press F8 and choose SAFE MODE then do the steps below

Windows Update Causing STOP Error 0x0000007E

-For now simple system restore should fix the issue, else uninstall this update by booting to safe mode.

-Uninstalling windows update KB973879 and hiding this update from available update is currently seem to be fixing the issue.
In case if removing update KB973879 doesn’t fix the issue, we need to remove remaining two updates KB970653 and KB972036.

cheers!

0x0000007e error code in acer motherboard of win

hi,

Some users experienced similar problems when SP2 was released, so this could be the problem. If the user sees a stop error code of 0x0000007e, this first issue is likely the reason why the computer does not boot properly.
The second issue will only occur on systems with certain acer motherboards. This error manifests itself with an error code of STOP: 0x000000A5. It is unknown how to fix this problem other than by installing a USB storage device, or even possibly removing a USB mouse and replacing it with a PS/2 port compatible version.
If that is not enough, Microsoft MVP Jesper Johansson reports that there seems to be a third, less common problem with SP3 computers, this time on Intel. Some may receive a 0x00000024 stop error, which he believes may be due to an issue with either the NTFS file system being corrupted, or a faulty video driver.
go to microsoft .com under solutions page and type in the information code error they have been working on a dowload patch to correct this . go there http://support.microsoft.com.
