Drinking water from refrigerator stopped dispensing immediately

At the bottom of the freezer door ( remove the kick plate ) , there will be a water line . Follow this line , about 6 " to a connector . Push in on the white ring and pull out the line , at the same time . Activate the water dispensor pad and see if water flows from the line under the refrig . If it does , then the line in the door is frozen . Either raise the freezer temp for several days , so the line in the door will thaw , turn on the dispensor light for several hours , or , I have heard using an air tank will blow the ice out of the line in the door . If no water comes from the line under the refrig , while activating the pad , then replace the water valve , behind the refrig , the piece the wall water line connects to on the refrig . GE also has a dispensor heater , pt # WR49X10173 which comes with instructions , to keep this from happening again .

OK, that should be no problem. Test your ice maker and fill with water if empty of ice. If full of ice and not moving to dump tell me. I need to help you locate the problem doing that and answering will tell me the problem. Also look around the door frame and inside for the model Profile that you have. and get back with me as soon as possible, Thanks Sea Breeze

The ice shoot leaks water into the exterior tray

It sounds like the dispensor flap , is not closing , letting warm air into the freezer . Remove the top cover from the freezer door hinge and disconnect the plug . This removes power to the door . Use a small screwdriver , and pry the bottom of the dispensor display board outward . Remove the 3 plugs . Remove the 4 screws on the white dispensor housing ( 1 on each corner ) and slide the housing out . In the top right , inside the dispensor area , you will see a solenoid with a plunger . These 2 parts usually rust , and have to be replaced . Pt # WR62X10055 . Only 3 screws hold this piece on , so it can easily be replaced .

Viking freezer leaking

you have a clogged drain, it is either clogged with ice or some kind of debris, thaw the freezer out and push a length of weed trimmer line down the drain. The drain is accessible by removing the back wall of the inside of the freezer. If there is no clog then the drain may be freezing up, if that is the case, take a piece of 14 gauge romex wire and loop it several times around the heating element at the bottom of the evaporator and push a few inches of it into the drain, this will get hot and transfer heat when it goes into a defrost cycle which is where the water is coming from in the first place

''GE tfx28ppcb fridge has water puddle usually on right side

I had the same problem, I found that the plastic tubing feeding the water despendor and icemaker was run right along the comperssor, over tiem the from exposure to the heat the tubing had become brittle and cracked.  the black tube shiled had to slid up to expose the cracked tube. A  new tub installed and splice to existing dispensor feed line fixed probelm.

We have a side by side refrigerator/freezer. a water drip runs down the grille on the freezer side. a small amount. we cannot locate where the water comes from. Can you help?? model #ed20tqxfn00 Al...

If you have ice and water in the freezer door it would appear that the water line going to the water dispensor has a leak. First check where the door hindges at the bottom as this is where the line runs from the water container located in the fresh food compartment to the water dispensor in the freezer door.
