Why is my SaniFlo Saniaccess 2 tripping my GFCI constantly?

Saniaccess 2 trips GFCI receptacle consistently. Bought from SaniFlo Depot less than 2 years ago. Also installed the GFCI around that time as well. Could the receptacle be bad? Or is something wrong with the pump? I also can't find my original purchase date from my emails, but I have my credit card purchase. Will that suffice for any warranty concerns?

GFCI or RCD tripping is either moisture has entered the motor body or there is a wiring fault.
Neither of which would I consider a warranty issue especially noting the age.
Call an electrician to diagnose the fault first then take it from there.

2003 cameo 35ks3 RV, GFI 110v receptacle at bathroom vanity is causing the GFI on the 110v power supply from my house to trip. The GFI receptacle at vanity is new. what must be done to solve problem?

If the house GFCI trips only when the vanity receptacle circuit has power then likely the neutral and ground wires inside the vanity GFCI enclosure are in contact with each other.

To isolate the problem, suggest you pull the vanity GFCI receptacle out of the enclosure but leave all wires connected. Make sure no little hands can get near it. Then power on and see if it still trips the house breaker. If it doesnt trip then likely the vanity GFCI ground wire was touching the neutral.

Wiring a GFIC alternative.

When wiring a GFCI (Ground Fault Interrupter Circuit) receptacle you would normally connect the wire coming from the service panel or the hot wire to the LINE connection at the GFCI and then connect the other receptacles you wish to protect to the LOAD side on the GFCI. But let's say you have installed a GFCI in a garage circuit and want to run a wire to the garage door opener from that circuit without the garage door opener receptacle being protected by the GFCI but still want all other receptacles protected. Reason being that the garage door opener will trip the GFCI more often than not. You may also want to have a receptacle for a freezer in the garage. You do not want that freezer protected by the GFCI circuit as it may trip without your knowledge and cause all the food to spoil. Warning: Only install a single plug receptacle for the freezer and not a double plug receptacle. That way only one thing, the freezer, can be plugged into this receptacle as it is not GFCI protected. The way to avoid the breaker tripping is to connect the garage door opener & freezer receptacle to the LINE side of the GFCI. This way it is not protected by the GFCI and there is no danger of that receptacle loosing power due to a tripped breaker on the GFCI. When the GFCI trips power will still be available at any receptacle connected on the line side. On any GFCI you can connect two sets of wires to the LINE side. If you have more than two you will have to connect those together under a wire nut and then use a jumper wire to connect to the LINE on the GFCI. Look at the photo and you will see the 2 sets of holes to connect at the LINE side (Bottom) on the back of the GFCI receptacle. There are also 2 sets of holes to connect on the LOAD side (Upper). Of course you would use a wire nut and jumper to connect all the ground wires.8dd2149.png

Whirlpool Cabrio trips my GFCI receptacle

GFCI trips when the current in the line does not = the current in the neutral. This might happen if some of the current is flowing in the ground lead.
Run the machine till it trips, unplug it and measure resistance from line (narrow spade) to ground (round). It should be an open circuit.
Any resistance there indicates a problem in the machine and the reason the breaker is tripping.

Gfci receptacle reset

There should be a reset button on the GFCI. If this keeps tripping, or will not stay in, the receptacle is bad, or there is a ground fault causing it to trip.

What does the orange light on my Leviton GFCI receptacle mean when the GFCI is not tripped and still has power?

Has indicator always been ON?
Or did it suddenly turn ON recently?

Usually small indicator lights show that device is working, and has power.
Then when GFCI trips, the light goes off.

LG Washer trips dedicated breaker

That to me seems like an electrical problem. Every now and again you can get a bad GFCI receptacle that will constantly keep tripping. I would also see that the GFCI is properly sized for the circuit. It needs to be a 20 AMP circuit (just dedicated to the washer) and a 20AMP GFCI receptacle. The way to tell is the 1 of the three prongs of the 20AMP GFCI will be in the shape of a "T" while a 15 AMP will have 2 straight prongs and the ground prong. Hope this ws helpful, don't go spilling any money into your washer without getting that fixed first, because it doesn't seem like a washer problem.

Gfci trips.it protects 4 receptacles downstram from it.If I disconnect from downstream receptacles it will not trip. This is on kitchen counter-top circuit. All wiring and devices are only 6 months...

There can be a few different reason for a trip. 1. Amps exceed rating off GFCI ie 15 amp receptacle can only handle up to 15 amp anymore and it will trip. 2. miss wiring; neutral must be on white screws hot on black and ground, green also inlet power (line) must be on bottom screws, outlet or load must be on top 3, a short, whether it be neutral or hot touching something in the box. Frayed wire, wire next to side of interior of box or yes moisture. Also a short in an appliance aven a new one can cause a trip. Remember if the refrigerator is on this same circuit, which is not a good idea it can cause a trip. At start up the fridge can spike to near 15 amps and a voltage spike can cause a gfci to trip. There are 20amp GFCI's so that can be your last resort, if all else fails.
