If I reset the batteries in the outside sensor it shows for a few hours but then goes off. The sensor is just outside the window from the main station

AcuRite Professional Weather Center 01602BPDI. It eats the outside batteries. Batteries last about 2-3 months till low battery power shows inside with -40 degrees plus other false readings.

My National Geographic Weather Station is the opposite. The outside sensor only indicates the temperature, but the single CR2023 battery lasts a year. The inside unit on my desk lasts around 5 - 6 months and lets me know if needs a battery by showing the outside temperature as ' -- '

Although the manual says 'rechargeable batteries are not recommended', I would try 4 Sanyo Eneloop batteries. Or you could contact Acurite Support and ask them if your battery use is excessive?

I have the Atomic Clock model W86111. I had to change the batteries on the outside device. The clock outside temp just flashes 63.5 all the time. How do I make it sync to the device outside?

Remove all batteries from outdoor sensor and weather station.

Press one of the buttons on the weather station at least 20 times to clear all memory.

Verify that the weather station is blank before proceeding (there may be lines painted on
the screen that will show when power is removed).

Leave both units without power for 15 minutes (very important).

Insert fresh batteries into the clock.

Insert fresh batteries into the outdoor sensor.

Press the TX button on the outdoor sensor to transmit RF signal.

Keep the outdoor sensor 5-10 feet from the forecast station.

When RF connection is established, the temperature will appear on the station. Allow the
outdoor sensor and weather station to sit together for 15 minutes to establish a strong
connection.

All of thes answers refer to watches. My product is a weather station Auriol Z29962D The time is always 1 hour ahead. If I set the time manually,it will eventually go to 1 hour ahead of BS time or 2 hou

Do you have a setting for the power line frequency? Some devices get their timebase from the power line frequency and if your powerline is 60 Hz, but you have it set on 50 Hz, then it will speed it up because of the 10 extra cycles per second.

Auriol 4-LD3091 weather station will not pick up sensor

I had the same problem and gave up on the unit for a while, then I had another attempt and found this worked for me. Take the batteries out of both units (receiver and outside sender) then reinsert the batteries BUT put the batteries into the outside sender unit FIRST, this seems to make the difference as when you then put the batteries into the indoor base-station it detects the outside temperature signal immediately as it starts to set itself up .

Cannot get the weather station model ws-916ou-it to show outside temperature

I have three of these WS-916OU-IT units. After a few years, the outside sensor just fails. You will get dashes and a "TR" low battery signal, even if the batteries are good
just buy another whole weather station (short money) and set both the old and new weather station unit to receive from the single new outdoor sensor.
To do this - just follow the procedure for a single sensor - that is - put the batteries in the new sensor - then within 30 seconds - put the batteries in all the weather stations - they will all pick up the same outdoor sensor.
I now have three units running off of one outdoor sensor.
Seems a bit silly, but it works.
