I have a 14 month old dishwasher Model # DDT700SSNSS. It is not cleaning dishes, I checked the filter and it seemed to be running, draining etc just fine. However, every time I open it when running it is only spraying the bar under the utensil basket. The top and bottom rack spray bars never move. I known the dishwasher has a top and bottom zone that can be selected, and apparently the utensils are their own zone also. But the dishwasher never switches off the utensils, and the top and bottom rack dishes never get cleaned. Does anyone have any idea what I should look at?
First check all the holes in wash arms. Make sure all holes are clear from clogs. Run a full cycle where top and bottom racks will be cleaned. Before pushing start, spin the wash arms by hand. To make sure nothing is dropping through the rack to stop wash arms. Check it again mid-way through the cycle. The water pressure can move items around and pop through. I don’t recall having a dishwasher to stop on silverware basket
I would check for a water flow blockage in the pipes.
