I have a GE Adora Quietpower dishwasher that doesn't rinse properly. During the rinse cycle, it hums very loudly and the dishes don't get rinsed. A blocked rinse line? It seems to wash but not rinse.

I'm sorry, but I can't see a solution. My screen just says Solution #1, Red echo 02, Rank Wiz, Rating, and Was this helpful, click to rate. I don't know if there's some fancy login but I don't see a screen or anything to click on.

I have a new stainless steel Samsung dishwasher. It doesn't seem to be drying properly. Dishes and dishwasher still very wet after cycle is completed.

Hello

Your dishwasher has been designed to use a liquid rinse aid. Pouring a liquid rinse aid into the proper recepticle in your dishwasher when you add dish detergent greatly improves drying performance. You can further improve drying performance by selecting the Sanitize option, in addition to the other options you've selected, and increasing the water temperature. For Best Results, use Jet-Dry Turbo

Spots and film form in your dishwasher's rinse cycle, when detergents are already down the drain. FINISH® JET-DRY® Rinse Agent works in the rinse cycle, lowering the surface tension of water and causing it to sheet. Better rinsing results in less spots and film.

If these recommendations do not improve drying time, please contact Samsung Customer Care

The dishwasher doesnot dry anything.

  • Check the rinse aid indicator beside the rinse aid dispenser cap. If the indicator window is clear, refill the dispenser. The dishwasher will retain moisture and the heat dry option will not perform properly without rinse aid. Turn the dispenser cap clockwise and lift it up to remove it. Pour rinse aid into the dispenser until the indicator appears full. Place the dispenser cap over the dispenser and turn it counterclockwise to tighten it.

  • Load the dishes properly so that all dishes can drain after the rinse cycle. Do not overload the dishwasher. Towel-dry plastic dishes because they will not dry completely during the dry cycle.

  • Select the heated dry option on the dishwasher. The air-dry and energy-saving dry options will not perform as well as the heated dry.

My GE Adora dishwasher is not cleaning well and the detergent isn't completely disolving. What could be the problem?

Mine has been doing the same thing for about 2 months now.. I tried Finnish brand diswasher cleaner, but to no avail. Try this:

    1) Empty your dishwasher, then take out the lower rack.

    2) Start a regular cycle. Wait until you hear the jets turning, then open the door. Make sure there is enough water in the bottom - It should be just UNDER the heating element.

    3) If your dishwasher is getting enough water, Reset your washer and allow it to drain.

    4) Go to the store and get a gallon jug of white vinegar. Start your dishwasher on a regular cycle.

    5) Once you hear the jets turning, Open the door and add FOUR CUPS (liquid measure) of white vinegar to the water in the bottom. Let the wash cycle complete.

    6) When the wash cycle drains, the rinse cycle will fill. Once the rinse cycle starts, add ANOTHER FOUR CUPS of white vinegar to the first rinse cycle.

    7) Allow the first rinse cycle to drain. Let the second rinse cycle complete normally.

I know this sounds too good to be true, but it REALLY DID work for me, this evening as a matter of fact! I also bought some hard water/soap film detergent additive from the store. It was kind of expensive, but I'm using it for a while just in case.

I hope this helps. Like I said, I couldnt believe it when my dishes came out clear again! Also, I turned OFF the heated dry cycle, and just opened the door and pulled out the racks when it was done.

    Good Luck!

Dish washer \does not rinse good leaves white flim

    Hi:
Some things you can do to try to improve your dishwasher's performance:

    1) Make sure your dishwasher rinse agent dispenser has rinse agent in it. The filler is usually close to where you put soap in the dishwasher.,
    2) Consider switching brands of dishwasher detergent, if you are experiencing problems. Depending on the water condition in your area, certain brands work better than others. Ask your neighbors what works well for them.
    3) try different wash cycle's with your dishwasher. Sometimes the economy cycle doesn't work as well as it should.

    Loud Humming Noise

You're describing vague, conflicting information. At first glance, I would think you have something stuck in the pump. But then it would be there in the rinse-only cycle also.
The anti-bacterial mode heats the water up to about 180F. This kills bacteria, and it also speeds up the action of the detergent. It could be dissolving whatever is in there.
The humming noise wasn't there in the rinse mode... The heater isn't on in the rinse mode - everything else is. But I've NEVER heard a heating element hum.

    Cleaning the filter:
The filter is in the back in the bottom right. It's cover is held on by two 1/4 in screws. Under that is a large grate, and I sometimes find stuff clogging the screen (underwater, toward the center of the machine.) I'd start by looking there.

    Good luck!

Are you using a rinse aid like Jet Dry??  All dishwasher manufacturers now require that you use rinse aid for drying dishes at the end of the cycle.
