Depending on the model you have. Locate the carburetor (behind the air filter) on the bottom of the carburetor bowl there should be 2-10mm bolts, one of which will have a phillips head slot for screwdriver. If you say you drained the old gas out of the tank, make sure the gas valve is turned off.. then remove the bolt with the phillips head on it. When you remove the bolt, be sure to hold a cup, or whatever under the bolt, as you are draining the old yukkie gelled up gas thats been in the bowl. If you dont shut the gas valve off, and pull that bolt it will drain the entire tank. Also i tell everyone if any machine is going to sit for a period of 30 days or more, to drain the carburetor bowl and the tank to prevent any issues and stay away from gas stabilizer (on anything older than like 1994 stabil i suppose is ok but i still wouldnt). Put the bolt back into the carburetor bowl..turn gas valve back on and im willing yo bet it will run as it should..if it doesnt, remove the bolt that doesnt have the phillips slot, remove the bowl, and clean it w wire brush or sandpaper, put back together..if still no go..buy the same carb and replace entire thing. But truely think in ur case u will be in good shape with 1st thing i said to do. If any issues get back on here hope this helps. Good luck

My guess is a tiny piece of junk got stuck in the carburetor. Check the simple stuff first; it does have enough gas, you do have the gas on/off valve switched to ON, and you do have the choke open to start it.
Then watch this free video. I hope this helps!

SOURCE: Honda Pressure Washer HP 5 not starting

You can try spraying some carburetor cleaner into the carb. If it starts for a minute, your carburetor need cleaning. When you added new gas did you remove the old gas first? Is the air filter clean?

SOURCE: Honda gas power pressure washer runs for awhile then cuts off.

did you pour all of the old gas out before you started to use it. Sometimes condensation builds up in gas tank when stored. You need to dump old gas an put in new gas.

SOURCE: 87 chevy 350 fuel injected pickup wont run smoothly

sounds like your egr valve is gummed up or bad. this is located behind the throttle body and has a single vaccum tube connected to it. if the diafram is still good you can remove it and clean it with WD 40 until the plunger works smooth

2002 Saturn SC2 slowly died on highway and won't quite start

Check for a shorted or grounded fuel injector the test light will flash but there's not enough current to move the injector. Use a DVOM check that they're all the same.

What should i try next my truck quit on me and now we have replace the fuel pump and filter it run but rough so i changed out the plugs and now it will crank but wont stay running it is running and 40

You might want to remove the o2 sensor ahead of the catalytic converter and see if it will run. If it does you have a plugged catalytic converter or muffler. You can also try manually spraying gas into the throttle body and see if it stays running and if so you could have a bad fuel pressure regulator. You will also need to check the pickup wire in the dist to make sure you are getting fire or enough fire to the plugs. You can check for this by putting a tester in the spark plug wire and the other end on a spark plugs if you have a spark tester. Hope this helps.

ProForce PWC102350 2,350 PSI 2.3 GPM 163CC MagnaForce Gas Powered Pressure Washer will not start

If you have compression then the first thing you check is for spark. If you have spark then you move on to the fuel system. You will have to pull off hoses at a couple of points to see if gas is at the carb and further along. If it is the carb then a simple carb kit will work.

Motor quits when pull trigger

It's the spark plug more than likely. If engine turns but won't stay running its more than likely spark plug. If that doesn't fix its the gas. Empty gas out get some fresh gas.

Car was running fine, went to store, come out turn the key, plenty of crank, but just wont fire, whats my next step?

Determine if it is an ignition or gas failure. Does the fuel pump still work? Do you have gas up to the engine? Watch the injectors for spraying a cone pattern of fuel when car is cranking-that is, if the car is throttle body injected. If multi-port injected, you cant see the injector spray, so check for fuel at the engine fuel rail, or crack the fuel line at the engine to see if fuel is under pressure. The correct way is to check fuel pressure with a gauge, barring that, see if fuel is getting to the engine. If not, pump may have quit.
To check ignition, pull off a plug wire and check for spark when cranking. Be careful of shocks, hold wire with a glove or heavy rag, push the rubber boot back to expose the metal end of plug wire, and hold the wire 1/4 inch from a metal piece on the engine. Have a helper crank the car over and observe spark jumping from wire to ground-a good spark is a blue, snapping spark. Good ignition. A weak, inconsistent, or orange spark is a sign of ignition problem, possibly a bad coil, bad ignition module (the TFI module), or other ignition component.
If you have good spark (good ignition), and still unsure of fuel, spray some starting fluid or carburetor cleaner into the air intake and crank the car over. If it runs for a few seconds and dies, you know gas is the problem. The pump has quit or the fuel filter is clogged. You may even want to try this first, cause if it tries to run, you know ignition is good, and gas is not getting to the engine. Good luck.

Kohler command 20 twin engine - no spark

If there's no spark, then either the spark plug has come into contact with gas, or the ignition coil is bad. Try either replacing the spark plugs, or removing the old ones and seeing if the tips are damp.

If replacing them doesn't work or the plugs are dry, then try replacing the ignition coil.

Blower cranks easily and runs fine for about 1 minute and quits. I have cleaned the air filter and changed the spark plug but no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated?

run it till it quits. pull the plug wire and check to see if you still have spark when pulling it over. if no spark replace the ignition module. if you still have spark then your fuel tank may not be venting. loosen the fuel cap enough that you know its venting and try running it again. if problem solved replace check valve and or fuel cap. hope this helps you

Generator ran fine Friday evening but when I cranked it Saturday evening it ran from 10:00pm to around 2:00am then quit. I woke up to a cold camper. I was able to re crank the generator but it runs real...

If plug is fouled, that would explain running rought and some smoking. But for something to happen all of a sudden, I would suspect bad fuel, which can cause fouled plugs.
