I have honda fg 110 a mini tiller it starts fine runs for about 10 min then quits. choke it it starts fine then same thing.

I have a similar problem.
The first time it was cause by the ethanol in the gasoline. It deteriorated the carberater rubber membrane so that it had a crack in it. The carberater would run lean. Take off the primer bulb and there is a plastic cover that goes over the rubber membrane. Remove that cover, and check the membrane. If this has a crack, you can order another from a honda dealer. It is about 14 dollars. After that just use ethanol free gas. Search the internet for a local source.

The second problem I had developed a little later. The engine would start, but if I gave it full throttle, it would quit. It got worse and worse till it would run at all. I noticed when I loosened the Gas cap, then the engine would run. And when I loosed the cap, I heard a whoosh, like air being sucked in.
So I figured the cap wasn't breathing like it should, which cause a suction in the gas tank. So I took a diaper pin and went through the holes on the inside of the cap, and through the little rubber plug in the center of the inside of the cap, several times. This allowed the cap to breath. Now it runs great.

I have a new FG110 tiller. I can't get it to start. Has oil, has gas, clutch off, switch on. I pull the cord over and over and nothing. Any suggestions

I think even the small mantis tillers have low oil shut offs so that's always the first thing to check if you haven't already. You'll need to clean the carb off, if you remove the air filter cover and the corresponding screws underneath you'll gain access to the carb. If you don't feel comfortable dismantling it completely you can shoot the carb and choke cleaner while working the choke back and forth. Give it time to dry completely, this should not take long as it is designed to clean and dissolve rather quickly. Once you're sure there is no blockages turn the unit on and listen to it's idle, if the unit sounds as if it is reving too low than turn the idle adjustment (a black plastic screw on the carb) counter-clockwise taking care not to go too high as this could damage the engine. Adjusting the gas/air mixture shouldn't need to be done so stay away from these adjustments for the time being.
