I have just purchaced alg gh22lp20 dvd drive but

I have just purchaced an lg gh22lp20 dvd burner but the writer solution disc is cracked & I cant load the software. Any idea's?

The computer should recognize it as a dvd-device though, if not windows is giving u trouble,
so try using any other
freeware burn program like nero or burnatonce to burn,
u necessarily need the original software.
to get anew copy of software email the manufacturer, then post send the cd in exchange for a newer one or look on th homepage if they have something fittng your drive- model and operation system ready to download...

My LG DVD Writer is not reading any disk when i am inserting the disk in Drive. IT stops blinking also.

Hello Ammit,

It seems that the lens of the DVD writer is not working properly. Please try to clean the lens of the DVD writer with help of CD/DVD lens cleaner disc. The lens cleaner disc is easily available in market. After cleaning the lens try to run the CD/DVD again

If it don't work then there must be the problem with DVD RW

DVD Writer not recognizing DVD

the drive is not recognizing any dvd. this happens when you insert dvd into cd drive. if this happens with dvd drive its factory malfunction probably so if you can-replace it

yes... but you need to have a good ammount of RAM memory and Disk drive space to achieve that since dual layer disc are up to 8 gigs..
