Hi Alexandra, I hate to be the messenger of bad news but Machine Error 7C mean Engine PCB Error. This error code is for servicer reference and may not appear on the service manual. If it does, it will tell you to unplug the unit and try again. If the problem persists, you have to bring it to an Authorized Brother Service center for repair.
