SOURCE: Wii remote cursor not working in Wii Menu

I find it very irratating to navigate the wii menu as well. It seems our problem is the remote is very very sensitive to the sensor bar. You have to swing the remote around a bit to find the 'hand' you use to click on where you want to go. also, I find that I first have to press A when the menu comes, then almost have the remote 3 inches from the sensor bar. I have also tried putting the sensor bar in different loactions. Like, if we are playing standing up, we put the bar atop of the tv, otherwise if it is a game we can play while sitting, we put the sensor bar under the tv, on the stand (this is a 20") Try moving yours around and find out what works best for you. But it is frustrating as I too find that the remote is too dag 'on sensitive!! Even though I know it's fussy, we still have the problem daily, doen't get any easier! I hope this suggestion helps.

SOURCE: unable to connect drums and guitar for guitar hero world tour wii

i couldn't get the console to see the guitar, so after making sure the the remotes were synched with the console individually, i pressed the reset on the console and then started guitar hero software before putting the remote in the guitar, making sure the first light remained lit in the remote. (am only using the guitar). so far so good, seems to have worked.

SOURCE: Sync lights on my Rockband guitar won't stop flashing.

It is probably broken but try and check to make sure the guitar is on and if it is then you need to let your guitar set for 1 day. I did that and mine worked the very next day.

Wii controller wont pick up guitar controller. The guitar has the wii remote, and have plugged the vocals into USB - it picks up the mic for vocals but not the guitar

Make sure that you've synced the Wimote with the Wii. you can do this by pressing the red button on the wii by the SD Card slot and press the red button on the Wiimote under the battery cover. You can also sync the Wiimote's by pressing the home button, clicking on the Wiimote on the screen, and then clicking Reconnect the Wiimotes I believe. When doing this, just hold down the 1 and 2 button. If your Wiimotes don't need to be sync then theres most likey something wrong with your Guitar Hero Guitar. that's the only other possible outcome I think. Unless then Nunchuck hookup is somehow broken. Doubtful though. Those Wiimotes are FEIRCELY strong. My dog, who can chew though a hard plastic chair, could only leave dents in the Wiimote he chewed on. (Bad Dog!) Hope you get it working!

This Rockster guitar from Psyclone Essentials, PSE6300B, is bad.

For use with RB (The Beatles version of RB, anyway), the instructions that come with the Rockster guitar are completely wrong. Unplug the wireless USB remote from the Wii. Insert a Wii remote into the guitar and use it as you would expect. Works just like it is supposed to.

Rockband TrackPack

Unfortunately, the guitar that comes with the Guitar Hero does not work with Rock Band or Rock Band 2. Rock Band, as you mentioned, recognizes the Wiimote as the controller for the microphone.

Unfortunately, you will have to get a guitar that is specifically designed for Rock Band.

I know this isn't the answer that is popular, but if you vote for my solution, please vote at least "Thanks for Trying".

Thanks for using Fixya!

Rockband - WII - wont let me add more than one band member!!!

When starting up Rock Band, make sure that no more than one Wiimote is activated (two if you are using one for a bass/guitar). If any are, they will over ride the drums and guitar in priority.

Make sure that only the drums, wireless guitar, microphone (controlled by the Wiimote) and 2nd guitar (whether the fender type with built in wireless OR, but NOT AND, a 2nd guitar that uses a Wiimote).

If more than the max number of wiimotes are turned on when you power up the game, reset your console, and wait to start Rockband until the other wiimotes no longer show a light.

Good luck!`

Guitar hero guitar issues...

If it makes the sound but you still get credit for it. you can hit the Home button on the Wiimote, Click on Wii Remote Settings. Then just turn the volume all the way down.

If you think there is an issue. Try playing with a different WiiMote, Or Consider replacing the guitar.

Wii mario kart, second wheel won't turn

I tried resyncing from the main screen, but one of the wiimotes still didn't work. I read to smack the wiimote facedown in your hand a couple of times, and that worked!!!

Apparently the motion sensor can get stuck inside, although it doesn't totally make sense, because previously when the wiimote didn't steer, it still moved on the screen to choose character, car, etc.

Wii handset will not fit into guitar

I have GH3 for the Wii. The standard Wiimote will fit, but you have to fiddle with it a bit. Remove the cover on the back of the guitar. Attach the cable inside the guitar to the Wiimote. Tilt the Wiimote so the front of it goes in first. The back of the Wiimote and the cable plug should push down into the guitar and rest on the plastic "slot" molding. You may have to move the cable around to the top to get it out of the way. Put the cover back on the guitar and you are done.

Good Luck.
