Unscrew that drum and see if you can find a wire that has been cut off. If you do, tape it back together and try it. If it doesn't work, buy a new drum set. Cheap at Walmart and or Gamestop

I had the exact same problem on the wii guitar before, and tried replacing it which did no good. Then I realized on the solo part the touch slider was what kept strumming itself, so I turned off the slider and it worked! To turn off the touch slider, you have to go into a song and go to options and turn it off, which will keep it turned off until you change it. I'm not sure why it does it, I guess dust gets on it or something.

Hopefully this helps and have fun! :D

You may need to sync the drum kit with the console you are using it with, as it may have been sync'd with a store console.
Once you locate the sync button on the drum kit, just google it's location as I am not 100% sure where it is located, press and hold while doing the same with the sync button on the console. That should sync the drumkit to the console and render it ready for use. Good luck, I hope this helps.

you can just solder it back. there are 2 screws under the front-most velcro. open them, and take out the round plastic where the pedal hits. there are two wires. you'll see 2 white solder points where the wires broke off from. you don't need to solder in the exact same place, just one on the outside ring and one in the middle. 3 minute work. when you close everything up and it works, i suggest taping the part of the wire closest to the pedal to the pedal itself. that way, if you accidentally yank the cable, it won't tear off from the soldering.

Having a 13 year old solve this is not right but anyways the bottom frets can be used for people who have trouble reaching the top ones are they can be used for like rockband solos and on solos you don't need to strum.

Well the strumming by itself is due to the touch slider strumming by itself. Try going into any song and going into options and turning off the touch slider. This will keep the touch slider off until you change it back, so you don't have to do this every time.

You can turn off the touch slider by going into a song and then going into options, which will turn it off until you change it back. This means , of course, you wont be able to use it, but its better than failing. :D
