My front load washer does not seem to fill enough

My front load washer does not fill appreciably with water. The wash cycle starts almost as soon as water starts entering the chamber and the water never fills to a visible level. Is this normal?

At least on our GE front loader it is ok. That's why they are so easy on water.

Hot water stops filling too soon.

Fill setting has to be adjusted and the belt is slipping on the spin cycle and not generating enough centrifugal force to get the water out.

No water no Spin

Check your 2 in 3 out water valve part# WH13X10029, this responsible for filling of water. By the way wash cycle will not run, until washer sense enough water.

Not enough water in the drum during the washing cycle

If its a High efficiency washer it doesn't use much water. Usually the front load washers are HE washers

Our kenmore elite frontload washer drains too soon

For low water volume - or "Trickling" effect...

1. Turn off the water supply to both hoses.
2. Remove hoses (one at a time so you don't get them confused)
3. On the washer side - look for a removeable screen inside wher you just removed the hose.
4. Using a small screwdriver - pop out the screen and reverse-flush it/clean it. It will likely be full of sediment and calcium deposits from your pipes.
5. Replace the inlet screens.
6. Re-fit the hose to the machine.
7. Turn on water supply valves.
8. re-try.

Water now not going into the Washing Machine

it seemed after further investigation that the inlet pipe had a kink in it. All now sorted

Doesnot stop filling water

To javed_iqb904, does the drum actually fill or does it seem like that water is draining out as it's filling?

To neonllama19, if it fills with the tap on and the machine off, it sounds like a defective water valve. If it never stopped filling it sounds like a defective pressure switch or hose to the pressure switch is loose or diconnected.

My frigidaire front load washer starts...then quits...

yes it could be but also it could more than likely be your pump not letting water out or not letting enough water out which stops the cycle try doing aload when it stops turn dial to empty and if it spins then your pump is faulty needs replcing thats the more common fault
