Extension call I posted this once already not sure if posted in the right place. Anyway, our intercom works fine to call an extension within office, but it rings. I don't want it to ring. We had a problem about a month ago with calling extensions not working and had a tech come out and reprogram and now when we call ext it rings and before it didn't. Any suggestions??

You need to page an extension.
To program this on a button:
press feature 00
press the intercom you want to change (EX: ext 10)
press the right intercom and *10
press feature 00

To use, just press the button you just programmed. It will grab intercom and dial *10. Conversly, you can press intercom *10 to do the same.

All of a sudden, I Problem with the NorStar T7316E Corded Phone (nt8b27jaab) All of a sudden, I can call to other intercoms in the office, but they can not call me. Do you know what has happened? Also...

What happens when someone tries to call you ?? Does it blink on the intercom key ? Are you sure they're dialing the right extension number ? Go to your phone, dial FEATURE *0 and then press the intercom key. It'll tell you the extension number of that phone.

Other than DO NOT DISTURB (feature 85 = on, Feature #85 = off) there's nothing that would stop a phone from getting an internal call.

When I try to transfer a call, the call only rings on my own intercom button. How do I get it to actaully transfer to a different extension?

Make sure you do NOT place the call on hold before doing a transfer. While on the phone, press transfer then the extension, once done simply set the receiver down and it will transfer. If the person at the other extension does not answer and you have no voicemail system, it should ring your extension back.

Intercom / page problem with AT&T phones model 944 and 955

Do you have DSL on this line? Make sure you have filters on the lines going to the phones or take the line coming out of your DSL modem and split it to the phones.

Also, try unplugging your fax, computer modem or credit card machine and test the intercom. Sharing one line for several devices can make the intercom unhappy.

Phone does not ring or show caller ID

From extension 10 or 11.

Press feature 00
Press left intercom twice
Then right intercom once.
enter your extension number

You will see the lights blinking green on the phone, where your lines are. Touch them until they are solid green. If you want to program another extension, press the right intercom button again and enter the new extension number.

Once done, press feature 00 to exit programming.

As far as the caller ID, there is no way to turn it off on the Partner system. My guess is the provider isn't sending caller ID.

Problems with Intercom

Yes, you just need to program those buttons on your phone. Press "feature" then "redial" then press the button you want to program, then press "1" then it's extension # (example: 1-0-0 to program the button for extension 100) then press "feature". After you've programmed those extensions, the intercom should work.
