Does the engine crank but just not start? Or... are you cycling the ignition switch without trying to crank the engine? Based on the information you have given, I would first guess that the fuel pump may be going out. I say this because when you first turn the key on the pump primes the engine with pressurized fuel. If the pump is getting old, it may take a few power cycles to get it going. You can test this theory by having somebody listen near the rear of the car while you turn the key on for the first time. The fuel pump make a faint, yet distinctive high pitch noise that can be heard when you turn the key on. Try that first. Next thing you would try is checking the relays for proper function... starting with the fuel pump relay. Good luck.

Where is the 2002 mitsubishi eclipse 2002 sunroof drain hole

Open the roof and look down into the catch pan into each corner, there should be a hole in each corner. When cleaning them, be careful not to knock the drain hoses off... (you can't see them, they are under the headliner)
There may be only holes in the front or the rear, but most have drains in each corner.

I am getting a lot of water on drivers side floor board when it rains. I have cleaned the air vents below the cowl vent.

Could be leaves and detritus blocking the ventilation air box water drains.

Could be, if the car has a sunroof, the water drain from the sunroof trough. There is generally four drainpipes - running from each corner of the sunroof trough to each corner of the floor of the passenger compartment.
When I service a car I open the sunroof and pour a jug of water into the trough to ensure all four are clear. They sometimes become blocked, perished or dislodged from the outlets onto the ground.

If the water source isn't really easy to discover it is almost certain to be really difficult. With body water ingress there is hardly any happy medium.

My 2005 ford escape v6 is only firing on cylinder 1 and 6

Your an 2005 Ford Escape 3.0L, you don`t have a distributor. Each cylinder has it`s own coil and is controlled by the PCM. You need to scan the PCM to determine which cylinder is loosing power ( misfire). P0301 cylinder #1, P0302 Cylinder #2 and so on. The coils are common problems with this vehicle, but pay close attention that the drivers in the PCM are not at fault. #1 cylinder is on passenger side near the firewall passenger compartment. firing order as follows, Bank #1 1-2-3 front of engine to rear. nearest the passenger compartment. I`m an ASE Master with 30 years experience. Be careful, don`t waste money on unneeded parts! I own my own company. 805-369-4589 Jerry Bryant. Advise is free, but like reading a diagnostic manual does not mean the problem is solved. Correct diagnoses and system inspection and testing is what needs to be done so you don`t waste money!

Leak sunroof 08 Expedition

there are drain holes, 2 in the front corners that go down the A post along the windshield and empty under the truck.
The other 2 are in the rear and drain under the truck. Blow out with air pressure to check for clogs. The roof has to be open to see them.

Make sure the seal around the glass is good.

Leaking sunroof with 2 inches of water in car

I had the same problem... fairly simple fix. Just park the truck so the front end is lower than the back. Open then sun roof and you will see in each corner on the front of the sun roof that there is a little hole..this is the drain hole. Pour some water down the hole and see if either one is backed up. (If so keep reading for the solution) If not, park so the back of the truck is lower than the front. The channel that leads to the front drain also leads back behind the rear doors to the rear drain for the sun roof. Pour water in the channel and see if it drains. It will drain right in front of the rear tire, just behind the running board. If you dont get any drainage, you found the clogged drain. To clean the front draines, simply blow it out with an air compressor. For the back ones, you should check underneath the vehicle right in front of the rear tire and see if you can find the drain. If there is debris or dirt there, it could be clogging it. Clean it up and try again to see if you can get some drainage. If it isn't draining and the bottom of the drain is clean, it looks like you are going to have to tear down the head liner and try the same steps as cleaning the front draines. Good luck, and I hope this helps!

Zeevert was right about all but one thing. Cylinder two is the rear middle cylinder on a V6 or the second one from the passenger side on a 4 cylinder.
