Just got this machine and had the same error, called Nepresso and they walked me through the following.
Unplug the machine for 30 secs without turning it off to reset the computer.
Put the hottest water you can get from the tap in the water tank and keep the door where you load the capsule open, do not put a capsule in the machine, try one of the coffee buttons. If that doesn't work and it didn't for me, run the machine through the descaling mode without the cleaner.
Go to this site to get a manual. It is listed under CUSTOMER SUPPORT. :-) Here is the link to the website. http://www.delonghi.com/en-us/products/coffee-and-espresso/coffee-makers/nespresso-system/lattissima-pro-en-750mb-0132192224?gclid=Cj0KEQjwrqieBRCln82Rgufz7I0BEiQAPNjAIwPVQ5e68guS8rRE8O_Lry_tcDMQOapRV2KTlEHJuIkaAqS_8P8HAQ Lattissima Pro EN 750 MB
Basically there are air pockets in the system that need to be cleared. Make sure the light has stopped blinking before you do this. If the light is blinking it means the machine is too hot. Turn off and unplug the unit. Fill the tank with hot water and run in coffee mode (lever towards you). You have to be patient it may take a while. Let it run till tank is empty. Now start the descaling process. You need to use the Nespresso descaling kit for this. This should solve your problem.

This is because there is either too much water in the drip tray, the empties container is full or the drip tray is not placed correctly. This took me a while to figure out as well, and the manual was little help. Nespresso is located in Switzerland so their support number is international. Hope this helps someone...
