SOURCE: lamp goes out after 10-15 seconds

Recently had a similar issue.
When I took the lamp out (Let it cool for awhile first), there was dust all over one side preventing air from the fans from cooling the lamp, so it shut itself off after getting too hot.

I have a samsung hlp5063wx. I just replaced the color wheel. It worked fine for two days. Then no picture or sound. After I turn the tv on the lamp LED on the front flashes. Then it goes thru its cycles....

If the color wheel doesn't spin, the lamp will not fire. The lamp has a gap in it, it will read open. Pull the rear cover off trip the door switch and look close and listen. Double check that the color wheel does not spin up (turn on, then wait 5 secounds or so.. pull the power cord and listen for it to stop.. best method). Also, watch the lamp driver.. there is a condensor coil on there that will lite up when it is sending the ignition pulse to the lamp... do you see it? If so, it's the lamp.

It usually means that there is a piece of hardware or a program that it is having trouble closing. Try defragging the drive some times that can help things quite a bit. Also make sure you have the latest drivers fro all your hardware.

Hoshizaki KM-450MAB Ice Machine

maybe not. it could be that the heating cycle is taking a lot of time to remove the ice from the evaporator that is why the electronics is shutting off the compressor as a protection. check the heating cycle if it is working fine. check the evaporator for dirt that would hold the ice slab from falling down quickly. check the level of the unit. it may have move and now its out of level. the unit must be leveled with the ground.
