Hoshizaki KM-450MAB Ice Machine
maybe not. it could be that the heating cycle is taking a lot of time to remove the ice from the evaporator that is why the electronics is shutting off the compressor as a protection. check the heating cycle if it is working fine. check the evaporator for dirt that would hold the ice slab from falling down quickly. check the level of the unit. it may have move and now its out of level. the unit must be leveled with the ground.

Noise water pump
I have been told that the water pumps can be rebuilt but I have always just replaced them. when they go bad, they get real loud. It is my personal preference as the time it takes to rebuild in the service industry is not cost effective.

Km 450 mab cycles out of freeze cycle every 5
look for some reason that the sump is loosing water. Sometimes particals get caught in the dump valve and keep it from seating. Also, the sump may not be filling all the way and it will make small cubes. Set float to it's lowest level and see if that may help

Hoshizaki ice machine model 150 doesn't turn
- This bin includes a proximity switch and actuator paddle assembly. The mechanical bin control assembly mounts in the ice drop zone area and will shut the unit down within 3 seconds when ice pushes the actuator paddle to the full right position, away from the proximity switch. Shut down will only occur during the first 5 minutes of the freeze cycle when the paddle is moved away from the proximity switch. If the paddle is moved away from the proximity switch and held at any other time during the sequence, the unit will continue to run until the next freeze cycle occurs. This feature allows for a full batch of ice every cycle so that there are no small cubes in the bin.
- The bin is in the back and must be pushed all the way to the side (see diagram) You can also read more about this on page 30 of the manual I have provided (below)

Tony
