Software for X1100 All-in-one

First thing you need to do is uninstall the current software and printer.

Then go to: X1100 Series Driver

Select your operating system...Vista...from the drop down menu.

The next page has the link to download the driver. (It should be cjrX1100EN.exe. Click on "Download Now".

When you begin the download and the download window appears, select "Save" and direct the download to save to your desktop.

After the download is complete, close all the windows, or other programs.

Make sure your printer is ON but also that the USB cable is DISCONNECTED. Double-click the file on your desktop that you downloaded. When prompted by the software, connect your USB cable.

That should do it. If you run into any problems, just comment back.

You can download the drivers from:

The printer uses a USB cable to connect to your computer.

You can download the software from Lexmark Support

Enter your model number in the Search by Model box and click on the model when it appears.

On the next page click on "Download Driver" in the upper right.

Next page select your operating system.

Next page select "Download Now". When the download window opens select Save and save it to a folder where you can locate it after the download. You can also save it to your desktop, if you like.

When the download is done close the window. Connect the power cable to the printer and make sure it is turned ON. DO NOT CONNECT the USB cable yet. Find the file you downloaded and run (double-click) it. When you are prompted by the software, connect the USB cable and continue to follow the directions.

Unplug printer usb cable before and during software installation, this is important.

Get on the internet, go to Lemark site they have a area for support, and download drivers place on a cd or down load to your desktop. When finished run the drivers and your printer should work. If you can find on lexmark site there are many other sites that have them. Just type Lexmark x1100 drivers and pick a site in your search engine. You should not have to buy them.. Good luck.

Whatever O/S you use , you can get the Lexmark drivers to match from the Lexmark downloads section for X1100 series below ( also links to other models as well !)

Lexmark does not offer the vista drivers on a cd. However you can download the drivers from them. Here is the link just look for your series printer and on the right side of the colum next your printer click driver download. On the next page choose your os then just download your driver package install and you should be done.
