Model aeq6000es2: the "e05" error code normally indicates that control board may need to be replaced or a stuck relay on the control panel. you can reset the unit by unplugging the dryer power cord for 5 minutes and then reapplying the power. if the problem persists then the control board or the control panel may need to be at fault.

the thermistor in air outlet duct is very common for these. with front panel off find plastic duct from blower at bottom. pull out thermistor and look at inner side. it has triangular shape and if you can see shiny redish color at tip instead of all black then its worn. this causes numerous heat and control issues.

anything to me. Over the years, I haven't had much trouble with my dryers. The E56 error code means high motor current.
