Are you sure the remote has capability to change speeds? Some just turn fan on/off. You should be able to change the speed from a pull cord on the fan.

I don't know that remote # & there's nothing anybody on here can do to fix it. Call Hunter parts at 1-888-830-1326 with model # of fan.

I have a hunter fanaway ceiling fan with remote it came with. they work fine. i want to set an additional remote for use at different light switch location. there are NO DIP SWITCHES in it, and i can't figure out how to pair it. super frustrated. i've tried turning power off, then back on & trying to pair with no luck. the light on the remote does turn on when you push a button, so the battery is fine.
any ideas? i've looked everywhere online

This must be a common problem, since I Googled the part number and it popped up before I completed the number. I am going to have to order a new remote, since I don't have a solder pen. Wish me luck.
