Hunter fan remote #99600 no dip switches

I have a hunter fanaway ceiling fan with remote it came with. they work fine. i want to set an additional remote for use at different light switch location. there are NO DIP SWITCHES in it, and i can't figure out how to pair it. super frustrated. i've tried turning power off, then back on & trying to pair with no luck. the light on the remote does turn on when you push a button, so the battery is fine. any ideas? i've looked everywhere online

How to reverse fan?

to change the fan from counterclockwise to clockwise get the fan going on hi. Hold the hi button while switching the wall switch from OFF to ON quickly. The fan will switch direction. To go from clockwise counterclockwise just hold down the low speed button until the fan switches direction. This makes no sense but it works only took 7 years to figure out.

Hunter remote 85752 does not work

You probably need to re-sync the remote to the fan. To do this, turn the power off to the fan; and within ten seconds, hit the "3" button, then the "2", and then hold the 1 button until you hear a click. This should fix it. Good luck!

How do I get the remote to work fan and light

There are dip switches in the fan and in the remote that need to be set to the same numbers. You can set them to whatever you want, as long as they match. If these numbers don't match it won't control your fan. Here's a few lines from the user manual: "IMPORTANT! Before installing this control, check the factory dip switch settings. Refer to Figure 1. Be sure the dip switch positions of the transmitter and the receiver match, or the ceiling fan will not function." Here's a link to the PDF manual, which has an explanation and a figure in the middle of where you can locate these dip switches on the transmitter and the receiver both. http://www.hunterfan.com/uploadedFiles/Support/Downloads/41316.pdf

Dip switch setting for my fan

It does not matter what the dip setting is as long as they are the same on the remote and the receiver. If you do not know the setting you will have to remove the fan mounting cover and pull the receiver out. Open the receiver and see what the dip setting is. Then set the remote to the same setting.

DIP Switches don't seem to matter

You need to completely power off (wall switch or breaker) when changing the dip switches. Not just power off from remote because it will keep previous setting. I learned it the hard way....
