No switch on bottom. Seems to be stuck in weight only mode. Model is 5568 8.08. I wantfull function. Need directions.
SOURCE: My Scale stoped weighing me, now it reads 1-ld .
The sensor has been worn out or has been pushed past it's weight limit. When you get on it, it pushed the sensor past the point of working... When she gets on it, no problemo...
SOURCE: how do i program the taylor body fat scale
From the Taylor web site
http://www.taylorusa.com/faq-scales
The easiest way to program the scales is to pull the manual up for the scale and follow the directions. The procedure does vary according to the scale.
In general the procedure is to tap the power or set button until it brings up the height and then hit the arrow keys until you get to the correct height. Hit the power or set after each entry usually height, age, gender, athlete mode. It will then beep and you will need to hit the arrow up until you see 1 (this is the memory number) tap the set or power and it will beep again. The scale is now programmed.
The general recall procedure is to hold the power or set button down for 2 seconds (or tap the up arrow) until the memory number goes up. Then just tap the power or set and it will beep. Then step on the scale to get the information. The weight will be first, then running zeroes, then thefat%, and finally water%.
Testimonial: "The website does not have a manual. Using 'search' or site map produces nothing. Another problem: scale reads only in cm and kg. Won't cycle to ft/lb."
SOURCE: say it in English, not British
1. Turn the unit on.
2. At the same time, press and hold the "G" button and the power button.
3. While continuing to hold down the "G" button, release the power button.
4. Release the "G" button.
5. If you have done this correctly, the unit will power on. This procedure will switch back and forth between lbs. and kg.
