That looks like ab INCREDIBLY long number for a model number. It looks like model and serial joined.

Calibration is factory done and can't be done at home. You have to use a Government certified weight and they are very expensive.

At home, all you do is Zero them, so at rest they read zero.

How do you calibrate, it's a body fat scale, can't find model #?

It's important to find the model number to be able to find the correct manual. Below is a link to FAQ's about Taylor body fat scales.

The scale wont do anything it just says error2 and shuts off

Read the directions again,some scales you have to tap 3 times and wait for the zeros to pop up, then get on it. You just have to find out how yours works.

I changed all the baterries in my taylor 5582 body fat analyzer and scale now the clock works but there is a message "batt" above the time and no weight can be measured. how do I fix this

mcdevito75 here, Double check the battery placement, 1 or more batteries may be installed in--correctly.

Can't find my manual to figure out what where I am on the charts that were provided. Where can I get that info?

Taylor 7530 scale wont turn on,i have new batteries

Basically, the frisbee comment is on the mark. I called Taylor. a nice person walked me through a calibration exercise: take batteries out; stand on scale for 7 sec.; get off; put batteries back in (assuming they are still good); step on scale and if it reads ---- step off again, then back on to weigh yourself. My scale's display was blank, not -----, so they said calibration was unsuccessful & so I mailed it back to the NM address on the bottom. It just fits w/ padding diagonally in a USPS flat rate box. Waiting to see if they replace it (lifetime warranty).

The following reset procedure is used when the scale shows an err2, err, 0.0, inaccurate weight,to calibrate, or some other unusual error.

Remove the battery from the scale.
Sit the scale on a hard surface floor.
Step up onto the scale, stand still for about 5 seconds and step off the scale.
Re-install your battery.
Place the scale back on a hard surface floor.
With one foot only, place just enough weight on the scale for the display shows zero’s or dashes. Once you see zeros or dashes remove your foot.
Wait for the scale to turn off again.
Step up onto the scale for a weight.

If the reset is successful, you should receive a weight right away. If you continue to receive one of the error messages above please call our Customer Service department.You can also try the reset procedure a 2nd time. Sometimes the reset procedure will work the second time.

I called the Customer Service on this scale five times leaving messages each time. No one has returned my call yet! It's gong back to the retailer for a refund.
