Why is my motor filling up with gas when running

Hi. Vern the float needles in the carbs need to be cleaned. Also take the plugs out and turn motor to drive out all the fluid. It will also need an oil change because the fuel will get past the rings and fill the sump. Good Luck.

have you checked the motor there is a n over load resistor in the motor for when it over heats then the motor will not run if it has blown you will need a new motor as it cannot be changed, check it with a meter there should be resistance in the motor if its open then it has blown.

It sounds like the starting capacitor on the motor is weak/failing

It's a two stroke, it has a separate spot to put the two cycle oil under the seat. It injects the oil itself, so you just make sure its always has two cycle oil in there and fill the gas tank with straight gas.

If it starts OK and runs fine for a few minutes you may have debris (dirt) in your gas tank. The dirt settles on the bottom, you start the motor and through vibration and shaking the dirt gets mixed up in the gas and sucked onto the fuel filter until the motor starves and dies. When the motor dies the dirt settles back on the bottom and you start all over. With the motor off, shake the gas up well and drain the tank into a bucket so you can check for debris. If there is a lot, half fill the tank, shake it up and drain again. Also, you may want to check your gas can to make sure the debirs isn't coming from there.

disconnect line out from the compressor, run unit for about 5 to 10 min. if no problem. I would say that your tank valve is in wide open. replace it. the valve must close on ever down stoke so air don't feed back. this valve is screwed into your tank at lines end- good luck

U CAN DISCONNECT THE OIL RESOVIOR SWITCH THAT TAKE IT OUT OF SAFE MODE BUT IM LEANING TOWARD THE POWER PACK

Look again into the fuel filler there should be a metal hose which is where the tank gets it's air from, ensure when your filling up your not pushing the fuel filler gun fully home when filling up, suggest you don't fill the tank right up to the very top as your correct it's a big job & you will need parts before you take the tank off. http://passionford.com/forum
