Look again into the fuel filler there should be a metal hose which is where the tank gets it's air from, ensure when your filling up your not pushing the fuel filler gun fully home when filling up, suggest you don't fill the tank right up to the very top as your correct it's a big job & you will need parts before you take the tank off. http://passionford.com/forum

Hi, I'm a retired ford tech, and one thing you learn is more often than not your issue is caused by a bad wire or plug. If you have a meter, check your wires one by one. Also make sure you don't have any pins bent in the plugs. One last thing, you mite have to be reset via the dealer, a lot of resets have to be done with there equipment.

Could be crankshaft sensor.

Fuse 22 controls your injection pressure regulator and also the brake pressure switch. You may want to disconnect them one at a time and see if that fixes the fuse from blowing. My guess that if you are not having running issues it is the brake pressure switch. From what i understand you need to check the wiring harness along the valve covers for and chaffing or worn wires causing a short

Hello, these codes are usually caused by wiring problems going to one of the coils but could be wiring to the throttle body. If the wiring is good and its a interfereance problem then its going to be harder to find the problem. You will need to use a oscilioscope and monitor each wire at the coil/throttle body and then compare the reading on that same wire at the pcm to determine which wire is having the interference then replace or reroute that wire. Check the wire connections to the PCM also. I hope this helps.

Try and turn motor by putting socket on crankshaft pulley and check if motor is not locked up
