Generally, connecting phones via bluetooth to a laptop just allows for file transfer between the two devices. It is not to input sound from the phone through the speakers of the laptop. You would need a bluetooth audio device for that such as bluetooth speakers or headphones
If you cannot answer calls probably the answer to this problem that either your BlueTooth handsfree headset device is either malfuctioning or that when you registered the handsfree device you did not search for the service profiles and lock those in or either the handsfree headset device does not have an microphone.

1.) Turn off Stereo with the upper left button. 2.) Press and hold the EQ button just below it. the BT symbol will turn off, keep holding it, it will turn on, and then flash. when it flashes it is in pairing mode. 3.) go to connections/ Bluetooth on your phone and search for it. it will show up as XPLOD. 4.) the pairing code is "0000" enter and it will tell you connected xplod
to listen to music make sure it is in BT Audio, Also call quality is not that great, but it is an awesome unit to listen to some slacker/pandora over Bluetooth!!
