Are the ratios 4:3 and 20:15 equivalent?

ratios 4:3 and 20:15 are equivalent. If you equate them into fractions it will look like this. 4/3=20/15. if you multiply 4/3 to 5/5 the answer would be 20/15. Therefore, they are equivalent ratios.

2009 mercury 25 hp motor turns over but won't run. new plugs put in. fuel pump IS working.

Hey Paul,
AN internal combustion engine requires three things to run..(assuming all internals are good)
1. A properly timed spark
2. Proper air/fuel ratio
3. Adequate compression >120psi

Eliminate each of these... one at a time.. you WILL find out why its not running..(this is how a professional trouble shoots a non-running engine!!)

What is the equivalent fraction to 0/2?

If we have no pizza, and divided it between you and me, how much do we get? ZERO.

However, you want equivalent fractions to 0/2. To get an equivalent fraction, you multiply the numerator (the number on the top) and the denominator (the number on the bottom) by the same number.

So we can multiply the top and bottom by 2.

0 x 2 = 0
2 x 2 = 4

So an equivalent fraction would be 0/4.

Good luck.

How do i change a fraction into a ratio that does not have a denominator of 100?

You're on the right track!

920 92 46 23
------ = ---- = ---- = ---
1000 100 50 25

Now we can't go any further, because 23 is prime.

Good luck.

How do i do eqivalent ratios

Ratios are like fractions: to make an equivalent ratio you simply multiply both sides of the ratio by the same non-zero number. 1:2 is equivalent to 2:4 (both sides multiplied by 2). 10:12 is equivalent to 5:6 (both sides multiplied by 1/2).

Let x be the number of future weeks.

8 + 4x >= 30

Solve for x by subtracting 8 from each side and dividing by coefficient in front of variable. Plug answer into original equation to check that it works correctly.

Good luck,
