Try taking off the back cover, and inside there is a circuit board for the CD player. Get a small phillips screwdriver and take off the bottom of it. Then after that there are a couple motors, look at all of them and check for worn out wires. Or just solder some in. Mine had the same problem.

You must have its service manual to find reasons for these type of faults. Try to download it from net. Most sites might be paid ones.

Trouble with my Alpine CDE7826E cd player not playing....

It is possible that your cd plyer is not reading the data from the disc. this could be possible if the optical head is faulty. First of all open the head unit, open the top and use a good swab to carefully clean the lens of the optical head, you will need to look carefully, do not give any pressure but just a soft wipe, if the lens had been dirty , this would clear the fault. Loaad and check if tafter loading the tracks are read. if not, look for the spindle for any dirt,if the spindle height had been changed or reduced , correct if you are careful, if all these seems right, then I ma afraid you have a deffective/weak head. It is possible to take a trimming but will require great care. Change tthe optical if you think the cost is acceptable., only with an original!! hope this helps. Good day

Battery clamp 2002 Chevy Venture

remove the bolt put a washer on the bolt then put the bolt back in place this should leave enough of the end of the bolt exposed to hold with plyers then put the nut back on and tighten while holding the bolt with plyers, use a washer that is not too big for proper application.

Regarding problem with cd player

Quite a few players from that time did not play mp3's, due to the format's relatively new status. There is no way to play mp3 if the player didn't originally support it. You can try taking the mp3 discs you have and "up convert" to WAV type, then play them on your unit...accordianman
