Check to make sure your computer is sending a valid timing signal to the monitor. Make sure the power cord is inserted and secure. Make sure the video cable is secure (no broken/missing/bent pins) and the input source is selected correctly. Otherwise, contact ViewSonic customer support for assistance.

Is there a way to factory reset an AOC monitor?

in the manual , no monitor model told , some of this mon the service tag is not on the rear but on bottom of stand, look see it.yah odd.

the reset is in the OSD menu's of 99% of all monitors
the button is called a menu button.
what he pulled does not matter at all. it causes no damage
the test for any monitor made is this
test on a known good PC. 2nd.
and the OSD test. learn this simple art.
no PC at all tests.
1: mon power button off
2: connect mon to AC power
3: power on the monitor
4: in under 15 seconds push the OSD menu button
See it does work , now push oSD reset selection (under tools?)
if fails repeat again 1 to 4.

some of these monitors have bug in firmware,
if you set OSD inputs to auto, it gets lost if all 4 video jacks are dead.
vga, dvi , hdmi and DP
a mon, can have 1 or more jacks, do not use auto input mode.
in OSD turn it off, in fact one manual even warns you
if this MON only has one JACK(VID) do not us AUTO inputs.

I am recieving a Heap error, 21E721 : 21EE

Hi Bruce,

Try doing it in the following order:

a) Turn on your radio.
b) Press Hold/Mon key
c) Press No.1 key
d) Press L/O key (the L/O icon should not show on display).
e) Press Hold/Mon key
f) Ch2 should be displayed

Now repeat everything d) onwards until all channels unlocked.

Once you are done, press scan and any frequency stored on your scanner will activate when reception is observed on any of these frequencies, the scan will stop on active frequencies before resuming the scan until another transmission is detected.

I hope this clarifies matters for you.

If you have not programmed any frequencies into the scanner, then it won't receive anything.

Cheers,
Peter

My UH043SX-2 seems to be stuck on RX, I can talk on it but not hear an answer.

We have 6 of them all with the same problem. Uniden says to turn off holding down the mon and scn buttons. Then hold down the mon and scn buttons together for 20 secs. Then turn on holding down the mon and scn buttons at the same time. Then turn off and turn on again. This should clear the problem. It didn't for me so I threw them away and bought some more. I think that would have been easier than all the other stuff!

Low tire pressure light wont go out

The Low Tire Pressure Indicator must be reset using the Radio. This can only be performed if you have the factory radio installed in the vehicle. This vehicle does not come with an active tire pressure management system, and as such, this light must be reset manually.
1.) Turn Radio Off 2.) Hold down disp button for 10 seconds 3.) Setup Menu should display 4.) Scroll through menu to view "Tire Pressure" (use seek buttons) 5.) Select the Tire Pressure option (Press Radio Button 1) 6.) Reset should be displayed on screen (Press disp button) 7.) Tire Pressure Light should reset

My siemens LCD monitor back light turns off after 1 sec

You need to check out caps in the power supply section first, then check the backlight inverter circuits for bad fuse, transistors. It can also be bad lamps. See example of failed monitors due to bad caps: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

About a problem in my viewsonic monitor

Hi

Actually the common problem of viewsonic LCD monitor is bad electrolytic capacitor at primary, secondary & inverter area, if your lcd using power adaptor test the voltage out, use analog or digital tester range 50v dc, if the voltage out is accurate dont be sure to your adaptor working good, open it and find bad electrolytic capacitor inside. That is common problem of viewsonic LCD monitor could cause of display flashing then back to black after few seconds. Suspect inverter area lastly mainboard.

Gud Luck!
