HP 5280 Photosmart won't print??

I replaced my ink cartridge on my HP 5280 Photosmart. Now it says, "refer to printer documentation". What do I do?

Ink system failure is mostly caused by print heads. i do apologize but with issues like this, the best resolution is to replace the printer. it will only cost you buying new ink cartridges but it will not resolve the issue. :(

please understand that this is an issue with the printer hardware and not the cartridges.so dont waste ur money purchasing new in cartridges hence refer to this document

Incompatible print cartridge

Take out the print cartridge. Clean the points on the cartridge with cotton swab and try using it again.

Usually if you leave the printer off for sometime the ink get dry on the heads or some ink may leake to the sensores so take the cartrage out clean it and clean the heads with cotton swaps...see if the help and let me know
