SOURCE: Noisy Wine Fridge
The problem is likely with one of the two fans. A new fan is available from Danby (1-800-263-2629). My noisy fan is the condensor fan located at the bottom rear of the device. After removing the cooler from under the cabinet, the source of the noise was obvious. You will need to tell them whether it is the upper fan or lower fan. Leave the cooler upright for a few hours before you plug it in so that you do not damage the condenser. Price for the fan from Danby is $20.15 including shipping. you legally can't unless you are e.p.a. certified to purchase the type of freon in the unit and you have the equipment to do so,by law you need to evacuate the sealed system, then pressurize system with nitrogen and a small amount of r22freon,find the leak, recapture nitrogen/r22 and repair leak, then recharge unit with correct amount of correct refrigerant it needs, the equipment to do so is very expensive too

that's always a possibility but not always the case. The thermostat may not be cycling correctly or set wrong. The condenser could be dirty or if there is a fan, it may not be running. Freeze ups can also cause an "Out of temp." condition. Check it out.

We had that problem in 2007, about 10 months after buying it from Costco. It was under warranty so the tech came and changed both sensors. It's worked fine until Feb 11. Now, the lower section ran so cold it froze some bottles. I am looking for a solution to that problem.

Are you tray to "reset" the unit; disconnected power few minutes (five before to reconnected again).
If the problem come on again, try to set the temp manually accordign the User Guide.
