How to connect samsung tv and dvd to 6000rx? - JVC Audio Players & Recorders

Surely there is no reason why you shouldn't.

All that should be needed is a connection from the DVD player or computer to the TV set with a suitable connecting lead.

tried to hooked up to other tv or other component input with in the tv and replacing cable wire just to ensure where the main cause of the problem.

I am having the exact same problem....can anyone help?

On these combo units, the VCR will not play using component cables but the dvd's will play just fine.

What you need to do is run a pair of composite (Yellow, red and white) cables and use that for VCR and component (Green, blue, red, white and red) for the dvd player.

Make sure you switch the tv to the corresponding input.

Hook up your cables from your DVD player to these input on the back of your TV. The group of ports should be labeled as video 1 input. Use the Yellow, Red and White on the back of both DVD Player and TV. Then, change the input on the TV remote to input or video 1 to watch the DVD Player.

The ‘NO SIGNAL’ message would indicate there is no signal, if you have not tuned your channels in, this may be the digital tuner you are viewing. Press the source button whilst a DVD is playing in the DVD and see if an image displays.

The DVD-VR375 does not have an HDMI input. The connection should be:
• RED WHITE & YELLOW CABLE from your cable box (AV OUT) should connect to the DVD-VR375 (AV IN 1). Set the DVD-VR375 to AV 1 using the INPUT SEL. button.
• Next, connect an HDMI cable from the DVD-VR375 (HDMI OUT) to the TV (HDMI IN). Set the TV to the proper source.
This connection would allow the recorder to work as a pass through and will let you record TV programs as well as watch your cable channels.

sure you can record from your TV. You need to connect the AV1 of the tv to the AV1 of the DVD recorder. Then, when the TV is running, you can simultaneously record on your DVD recorder.

Use a SCART cable for the connection.
