SOURCE: Can I replace my Seagate

Yes, although I would use my 160 as the master and the 1TB as a slave to store my info though.

Require replacement power/data pcb for a seagate barracuda 7200.11 1000Gbytes part number on PCB is 2HBAHNRQ

Contact your local computer store, a computer technician/data recovery technician may have just that circuit for you to use and transfer your data onto a new hard drive.

You may also try to contact Seagate in this regard, they offer 3 year warranty on all Barracuda hard drives.

Take care!
