Display says 'this memory card is protected' - Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30 Digital Camera

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Try a different card of same brand and model, or maybe of a different brand and size.

If the particular mmc is not displaying in your phone and display other mmc it is not a password protected actually the mmc is damage.

Does your camera have an SD card or something similar e.g. XD card etc?
Remove the memory card from your camera and look on the side of your memory card for a small tab which you can slide up and down. It sounds like you may have write-protected your card and need to enable it again by sliding the tab in the other direction.

make sure that the slider switch on the actuall memory card itself is not in the locked position

check the card it has a lock switch on it

Hi..

Suddenly the card you have inserted is locked so that's why is says write protected. To unlocked the it get or remove your card from your camera. You can see in your memory card there is a small button her try to slide the button to unlocked. Insert your memory card back to your camera and try to take a picture it will take a picture.

your card contains fat file system. format your card with ntfs file system.

you can see a tiny lock (kind of sliding button with the label ("lock") in memory card. Try it

Look at the edge of your memory card. There's a little sliding bar that clicks up and down. Click it onto the other position. That should unlock it.
