I have a GE model# WLSR2000G2WW washer and it's not spinning out at the end of the cycle it started not spinning out when set on small load only now it's not spinning out on large load either. But if I turn the load size knob back and forth it will start spinning out. Do you think the problem could be a bad pressure switch causing the washer to think the tub has water in it ? And if it is the pressure switch is it the one behind the load size knob ? Thank You !

I found the hose hooked to the pressure was clogged down at the tub end. So it couldn't send a signal to the switch telling it the water had pumped out and it was time to spin out, the plugged hose was holding pressure telling the washer (falsely) that the tub had water in it so it won't spin if it thinks water is still in the tub. By pulling the hose off the switch end and blowing thru it to clear the lint and soap slime that was plugging the other end it works perfect now.

Hello Everyone,
I had a similar problem with my WLSR2000G2WW washer. The pump kept running but no spinning at all. This post helped me get the washer spinning again, Thank You!!
I removed both hoses to the pump (inlet and outlet), and used a hose to flush them out. I even removed the hose exiting the washer and flushed it too. I'm not sure which hose was responsible for my blockage, the hose exiting the washer did look a little twisted/kinked so I made sure I straightened that out.
Anyway I'm back spinning again.
Best Wishes! Rick

My GE GFW650 front-load washer skips directly to end without spinning clothes dry.

If your GE GFW650 front-load washer is skipping directly to the end of the cycle without spinning the clothes dry, there are a few possible causes that you can investigate:
1. Unbalanced Load: If the load of laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum, the washer may not be able to balance it properly during the spin cycle. This can cause the washer to skip the spin cycle and go directly to the end. Try rearranging the clothes in the washer and restarting the cycle.
2. Blocked Drainage: If the washer is unable to drain water from the drum, it may skip the spin cycle and go directly to the end. Check for any blockages in the drainage system, such as a clogged drain hose or filter. Clean or replace any blocked components.
3. Faulty Motor: If the motor that drives the spin cycle is malfunctioning, it may cause the washer to skip the spin cycle and go directly to the end. This is a more serious issue that may require a professional repair.
4. Malfunctioning Control Board: If the washer's control board is malfunctioning, it may not be able to properly control the spin cycle. This can cause the washer to skip the spin cycle and go directly to the end. Again, this is a more serious issue that may require a professional repair.

If none of these solutions work, or if you are uncomfortable performing any of the troubleshooting steps, it may be best to contact a professional technician to diagnose and repair the issue.

GE front load washer makes a loud slapping sound during the spin cycle and it sounds like something heavy is in the drum that keeps falling to the bottom of the drum when the spin cycle ends

You did not post the model number and that would be a must. However this sounds like the bearing or the pulley on the drum may have broken.

GE wpdh8900jmg front load does not go to highest speed spin. It does go to the lower speed spins

call your G.E. authorized dealer because theres a recall on this unit,or call G.E. directly or go online to find out how to get warranty service at NO COST to you,as theres a problem with these machines and the problem your having is a recall issue by GE company, the unit needs to be re-programmed during spin or theres a chance the basket can breach the top cabinet during spin cycle call them SOON,all serial numbers for that model are covered under this warranty

Manual claims machine has ability to spin out water but there are no options on the control panel

There are different models withing this line by GE. There is one model that have a "Drain & Spin" cycle on the main cycle selection knob, but on the higher end models, you'll need to use the "Rinse & Spin" cycle.

This will add some water to the washer, but the basic cycle will give items a quick rinse and spin.

If you're trying to use just a spin cycle to wring out towels, etc. and you don't have the "Drain & Spin" cycle, (which you shouldn't based on your higher end model #), just use the "Rinse & Spin" cycle and it'll do a nice job of getting out a lot of moisture from your clothes, towels, etc.

I have this same washer in my own home and refreshed my memory by reading my manual (again) to see that this is what you need to do, to spin out stuff.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

GE washer, does not spin

You probably broke the 4 black snubber straps on the top of the tub lid and it is cousing your washer to always be off balance and not reach a full speed spin
