Kitchenaid food processor KFI 1325 brand new first use and won’t turn on

Make sure you have the bowl, lid and sometimes the pusher assembled correctly. If everything is not correct it will not activate the safety switch to allow it to start up.

The cusinart pro classic food processor is not working ?

Try this procedure:-- It usually goes something like this, with minor variations depending on model number:1.Remove the work bowl completely from the base
2.Plug the food processor in and turn it on
3.Use a pen to depress the dark grey/black button on the base – if it spins, proceed
4.Put the work bowl on the base with the handle facing the front of the food processor – slide the work bowl until it locks - the white tabs show in the openings on the bottom of either side of the work bowl
5.Place the lid on the work bowl with the tab slightly left of the center of the work bowl handle – slide the lid counterclockwise until it won’t slide any more
6.Place the pusher sleeve in the feeder tube of the lid with the lock facing the front of the food processor (may vary depending on model)
7.Slide the lock to the right into the locked position
The food processor should now work.
This will help.Good luck.

New magimix won't start

It is most likely the way the bowl and lid are set.

Facing the machine:
the bowl locks in, with the handle to your right directly above the switches. The lid has a double tab...see underside of the top of the lid. Place the lid on tightly with both tabs locked into bowls handle. It really clicks in.

Cuisinart Food Processor (14 cup capacity) won't turn off. Plug in and it is on.

For cuisinart food processors that won't shut off: with bowl off - not attached - hold OFF button down while plugging in. With a screwdriver or other implement, press the button that gets depressed on motor base when bowl is attached and snapped into place ( small flat rectangular piece that clicks the bowl into place. While still pressing OFF button, press this a few times times, unplug then release the OFF button. I tried several suggested combinations of button pushing and unplugging, and this seems to have fixed it!

I need just the lid. dlc-194tx. please help

There is a small plastic piece on the lids 1-196 that slides into a slot in theback of the processer and is s safety interlock. unless your new lid will fit into that it will nto work. I know because i bought the wrong lid after the exact plastic piece broke on my original and I could not get the new one to work... right now my "work around" is to put both lids on.. the newer one does have the piece but its it the wrong place and I have to hold them while I use the processor.. sorry

The motor on our B&D PowerPro II food processer runs but does not spin anymore. Can this be repaired?

If the lid is not locked in place it will not work. It's a safety feature. Verify that you've got it latched in tightly under the handle.

Euro-Pro EP91 Quad-Blade 6 Won't Start

My wife was given this unit from an elderly gentleman that was done trying to make it work.
I just fixed the same problem as above. Note - I do not have a manual for this unit.
True above about the bowl cover being locked in position but found the key to make it work is also the white lid to the left of the bowl cover. I was locking and unlocking this white lid with no results. Then I removed the bowl cover and found the white lid cover was loose and easily removed this white lid to inspect inside ( why this cover removes I have no clue).
Anyway I was able to snap the white cover firmly on and turn counter clockwise to lock in place ( six o’clock position), then after putting the bowl cover back on and snapping in place it works.
Note - I do not need to turn the white lid cover to install or remove the clear bowl cover, this could be because it looks like one of the clear tabs might be broken on the locking area of the clear bowl cover. If you have two tabs the same shape on the bowl cover you may need twist the white lid clockwise to install and remove the bowl cover and counter clockwise to lock in place so the unit works, but now that my white lid is snapped firmly in place it hardly moves with the force of both hands trying to turn it.
Hope this helps someone.
Good Luck !
