if you can remove the memory card, remove it. your pictures will be on the card. the card only needs power when it saves the picture to the card. take the card to the walgreens, they will be able to read it and print your picture.
This is somewhat common on these aging machines. The NIC card in your Pi3502 print controller is going bad. It is a common symptom when this happens that print jobs and or scanning jobs take forever to print/send or will stop altogether. The only fix is to try and find another NIC card for your Pi3502 Print Controller. But this can be risky as even another NIC may not work or work for very long as they are getting to be about 8 years old now. I have had to upgrade a few of my customers from the Di251/351 because of this issue.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
If it does not seat (fit) properly, why say the printer will not read SD cards? It certainly will read SD cards that are supported. You can still upload to computer and print from there as you suggested.
The cost of getting the reader repaired would far outweigh the cost of replacing the printer. Your best bet would be to get a card reader that can hook up to your computer and print it out like you would any document.
At the time your printer was manufactured, it incorporates/uses what technology is available.
Things to consider, memory cards now comes in different capacity and speed. Your printer's memory card reader can't read cards that uses newer technology.
You can however use your computer's card reader if there is one or purchase a USB memory card reader to download the photos and print them from the computer.
This actually how I print photos since I can do a lot more before sending it to the printer. I use Picasa (free) for quick photo fix and effects.
Send it back. The printhead voltage is innnnn disorder. Netxt will be Error 41 (Every Error starting with 4 means probs with printhead and in 99,9% the head has to be changed and cant be fixed!)
