The freezer works but the refrigerator does not. The touch pad buttons are active but the refrig still will not work. Freezer is ice cold
I had the same problem. Replaced the fan that pulls cold air from the freezer into the upper compartment. Found a reference somewhere that is a common problem. The replacement fan from Maytag was a lot more rugged looking. It has worked fine for over a year now.
Here is a link to a trouble shooting guide for three models similar to your download or open the PDF and pages 27-30 are for the list of trouble shooting tips, Hope I have been of some help,

Hi,
Many times a freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong.
If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips.
If your refrigerator is running but warm, then...
Check out these tips that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...

The freezer appears to be maintaining temperature, while the refrigerator's temperature is rising, at least according to the control panel. I have cleaned the grills and coils, which had some dust build up, but not excessive. Could this be a thermostat or defrost control problem? Why would temperature increase to greater than that of the house temperature?
shut it off for a couple hours
The freezer section still works but the refrigerator section is not cooling. The repair man found on our unit that the evaporator fan was not working. He also said that he sees units where the damper, which opens to supply the refrigerator section with cold air, stops working. These seem to be the two most common failures in this model.
Yes, my repair man said the fan (in the freezer that blows cold air up to the fridge) stopped working. He hit the fan with his had and it began to spin slowly and said it would need to be replaced. Hoping to find a replacement part for less than his quote.
We have only had this fridge for 3 years and only use it on the weekends. Our fridge just stopped being cold one day and the temp went up to 67 degrees! The lights, control panel, and freezer all work fine. I can hear the motor running so I know it's fine. We tried resetting panel, shutting off fridge and turning it back on etc. I see that several people have had the same problem and have fixed it with a new fan. I'll give that a try and let you know....
I just hate to have to pay a huge price for repair when this appliance cost a couple thousand to begin with. What a bunch of ****...
We've only had our fridge for 3 yrs. and only use on the weekends. One day the frige part just stopped being cold and the temp went up to 68 degrees! The freezer, control panel, and motor are all working fine. We tried resetting the panel, turned off/on the fridge and still nothing. I see that several people have had the same problem and fixed it with a new fan. Will try this and let you all know how it goes...
I just hate paying for a repair on this very expensive fridge-it should last longer than this before it breaks down. What a bunch of ****...
