Sound at maximum and no controls work

Check the settings for audio volume control on the monitor side. Also, check the individual settings for the audio for applications and system sounds on the OS side. Or call ViewSonic technical support for assistance.

Sound like you have a blend door actuator that had stopped working. You have cold AC on the drivers side but not the passenger side? Your car has dual zone climate control where you can adjust either side independently. If you have cold air when you ask for it and hot air when you ask for it then the overall system is working properly, it is just that one side is not moving the blend door between the heater core and the evaporator core. Either you have something inside of the hater box that is keeping the door from moving or that hte motor that is suppose to move the door has quit.

Some Toshiba laptop feature a wheel type volume control either on the front or side of the laptop. Look for the volume control and if present make sure it is set to maximum

Hello, You can increase the volume of your laptop by, first check the speaker and headphone icon whether it is set to 100%.You can see it in the system tray or by the right hand side at the bottom of your screen or at the control panel,click on SOUND and increase the volume. Note the software you are using like window media center, VLC player, real player and the likes should also be increase to maximum, then if your computer has an external control for the volume, make sure you increase it to the maximum. Try with your remote control. If the TV control buttons not
pushed for a long time the switches develop this problem.

Try operating the buttons. Some times it may function.

Has sound been working in the past? If so - it's possibly a hardware issue but not always.I'll presume you're using Windows XP as the operating system.


Check these in the following order:

1. Check that windows volume is not muted. Depending on version of Windows, you may have a volume icon in the bottom right hand corner - it looks like a speaker - and if muted there will be a red circle over it.

2. Go to Windows Control Panel and Sound and Audio Devices settings.Check all volume are maximum.

3. Check that the right device is being used to output the sound by checking in Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devices > Audio tab. There are drop down lists. Check that Default Device is your soundcard (usually something like Soundblaster or similar.

4. It could be your Windows sound drivers. You need to go to HP website and look around for drivers.

download and re install the audio driver from here ...

adaptive defrost board, is hte board in question im assuming. ite located in top right hand corner of refrig section, under the shrouding. there are finger holes in the back of hte top controll panel to reomove the plastic housing(it kinda snaos down and pulls out. from there their are 2 1/4 screws holding hte control up and alsoa philips screw behind each of hte light bulbs. hte control will then drop far enough to gain acess to the board. its a little tricky to prop tha panel , but it will come

I would check hte wire harness leadngto the door under hte freezer hinge. itll be wrapped in a black web like covering. Just under hte unit itself follow ht ewire and unplug hte harness. then carfully cut hte black webbing and inspect wires. there tends ot be apinch point there and the wires will sheer from one another, . if so there is no replcing hte harness, the door would have to be replaced at a cost of nealry $600. not enough room for a wire nut, but hav had sucess using stright inline bullet style connector, or others have sucessfully soldered connections back in place

YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE SPEAKER AND PUT HTE NEW ONE. ADISE BY DOGY.
