Samsung lcd tv keeps clicking but won't turn on friend suggests maybe power supply,tv not even 3yrs.old yet need help

Ur tv needs a new ip board u can remove the back panel and its the center main board it'll be obvious to plain site being its the only unprotected board in the tv. get the model number from the top left of the part then go to samsungparts.com enter the part number order the part.this part is only about $130-$150 dollars and ur tv should be as good as new. the ip board is a simple fix just six screws around the board and seven wireharnesses just remove insert new part and and reconnect wire harnesses to correct slot that u removed them from screw back down and ur all set no big deal. dont ask samsung or a repair man they'll just screw u over and throw u around about ten differetn loops. not gettn a straight answer other then bring it n and charge u about $600 to fix. i see alot of people have this problem so there u go simple fix guaranteed. u r welcome.

It most likley is the power supply on the TV itself. There are 4 capasitors that are known to go out. You can tell this by the tops popping out or black goo coming out. You can buy everything you need at Radio Shack. I spent 22$ for soldering iron and everything I needed. I have posted pictures here. I also watched some videos on desoldering and soldering on a circuit board - very helpful.

10 years warranty on hidden defects korean capacitors are not self healing on capacitance and they are placed and chosen with to tight tolerance , an other power supply is for the next 2 or 3 years good enough but will get the same problem , because everyone will get this kind of troubles choose a good Japanese or German capacitors Nichicon Elna F&T panasonic rubycon frako and some others with same capacitance and at least 10 volt extra space on the max dc as much possible the same size that can be placed between the components on the same size to replace the bulged or convex topped and even the bad leaking ones to find the brands and green colored G-luxon Teapo and much other Korean capacitor brands LeLon was also in the early years very bad most Korean bad formule capacitors are made in the beginning of the years 2002 until 2005 are very bad inbetween 4 a 5 months they began to bulg . much in computer motherboards and power supply,s millions of people have had problems and it is now a little bit less but even in these years later it still happened regular also on some LG chassis of televisions

Your panel is bad. It is requiring you to have enough power to turn on your tv.

I have a 52 inch samsung LCD touch of color that keeps making the sounds to turn on then stops and 3 seconds later tried again and again and again but won't turn on. Please help
