Yes, you can, but the -010 is the weakest IC and may not last long. I always use the -020 IC and never have problems.

Want better stk options. pl help!

Use 392-150 the can handle higher current, if not use 392-120. Make sure you use heatsink compound and don't get the "cheap" ics- you get what you pay for.

i think there are som ic,c broken.
you have to replace them,then you have to adjust the convegence again.
the ic,s are stk 392-10,also check r7716,7721 and7711

My red blue and green have seperated it looks like a 3d movie?i have a projection floor model.

Your IC's on yjur convergence board have failed. The convergence board is accessed through the front of most projectors.You are looking for two devices with a number like STK 392-110 STK 392-150 or STK 392-180. These devices solder in, You may also find a burned resistor or two, and there may be a small fuse blown in the circuit. (not all have a fuse).

Stk392-110 chip is in my tv. can I use stk392-150 instead?

The model number you indicated: WS-55809 does not use the STK-392-110--IT USES TWO STK-392-570 CHIPS.

IF WHATEVER SET YOU HAVE USES A STK-392-110 YOU CAN USE THE STK-392-150 TO REPLACE IT--it is a higher current device than the 110 chip---there are some others even stouter but some create more problems.

I have used the 150 chip on several sets for the 110.

Panasonic PT 47WX54J. Blue, green and red out of focus. Tried to adjust convergence and now have warped areas on the screen where the red and green don't align.

Replace STK 392-110 with stk 392-150 ( better).Check any resistor around stk ic.

Picture distortion

The 040 is a higher amperage part, but will work fine in place of the 010. The 010 will work in place of the 040 also, but will probably not last as long due to the lower current rating.

I have a problem with my hitachi. The picture has vertical blue/yellow stripes. Probably due to a green color split. Can you diagnose my problem?

You probably have a convergence circuit failure. Replacing the Convergence IC's and check for any open resistors for the Blue Sub Yoke located near the Sub Yoke Connector should cure the problem. Most of the IC's are
STK-392-110's, STK-392-120's, or STK-392-150's. Replace them as a set.

you have lost convergence. one of three boards. in the setup menu do you have convegence option. could be a convergence power supply, or convergence amplifier board.
