SOURCE: My Soyo DYLT032 has power but no picture or sound

Long story short:
Had the same problem with my Soyo.
Thought it was the power supply board problem that everyone else was reporting.
ordered one.  Plugged it in.  Did not work.
Inspected the Main/Logic board and found what looked like a black button that could be depressed.  It is located to the right of main processor on the board.  You can't really miss it.
With the TV plugged in, I pressed the suspect button.  The TV made a buzzing/clicking noise for a few moments and the stuck blue illuminated power button faded away.
Curious by this, I pressed the power button and low and behold the TV comes to life!
Looks like I found a "reset" button which seems to have fixed my problem.
Thanks Soyo for not bothering to mention that such a button exists.
I hope the rest of you have the same good luck.  In the event you are still in need of a power supply board, email me.  I have a spare now it seems.  ;)

SOURCE: bell express vu remote codes for soyo tv

1 - Hold the clear tv buttom until all 4 light flash red
2- Press the red tv buttom
3- Press the amount of time needed on the up cursor ( around select buttom) until your tv shut down
4-When the tv goes off press the search buttom ( at the end on the right side )
5-Press record

Then u can use the red tv buttom to control ur tv and u can control the volume on satelitte mode without going back to tv mode , if u press too much time while searching the code and the tv wont light back , do the same thing but instead pressing the up cursor press the down one to go back on the code it will be faster .

SOURCE: My Soyo DYLT032 has power but no picture or sound

I HAVE FOUND 2 2200uf CAPS ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD THAT ARE PUFFED UP. CHANGING THEM USUALLY SOLVES THE PROBLEM. THERE'S ALSO A RESET BUTTON ON THE MAIN BOARD YOU MAY NEED TO RESET AFTER CHANGING THE CAPS.

Samsung PS51D6900DM smart TV. Stopped working and the red light flashed. DC/DC chip was burnt on the logic main board, led didn't flash. New board fit, Turns on. LED flashes now NO PICTURE Please help

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, [Exclude the model number] in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

My TV intermittently will not power on properly. Should I replace the logic board or the power supply board?

easy answer I always replace the least expensive part first. If it doesn't fix it at least you have a new part. since the logic board talks to the power board it could be either one.

Replacing of defective MAin Logic Card for my BenQ LCD TV 2050

Replacement of a main board might be tricky and not worth the money, I am not sure if you would troubleshoot or replace yourself.
- Have you opened the TV and seen the board?
- Once you open, can you actually remove it?
- If this is fairly new, (3-5 years) lead free solder would have been used, and prone to cracks
- Inspect every solder joint under high power microscope.
- BGA parts need X-ray, tough to get this done if you are not a solder/circuit board house
- If you apply pressure to BGA, when powered up, it may connect and work, this is a troubleshoot technique.

Hope this helps

Soyo 32

Oh my God. I just finished talking to the rep mentioned below. She was nasty. I've been waiting since July cause they don't even have the part in stock since then. I will almost quote this person: "Okay Mam, I don't have to listen to your complaints, your only option here is to keep waiting and I really don't know when the part is going to be back in stock or even if it is going to be in stock again. There is nothing else we can do for you". So what do you think. I paid for a one-year lasting tv and a quote for repair. I was even willing to pay for the part and the excessive shipping charge to get it, but they don't have it. I can't believe there is nothing we can do about this.

This is the "so gentle" lady's information. One thing I know, I will never buy a Soyo again, and will persuade anyone wanting to buy one against it.
