No pic I have no pic just beeping or ringing noise what is the problem with my tv it's a samsung crt hdtv  txp3064w

the echo is probably a expanded stereo or something that you have turned on in the menu under audio. do yourself a favor,reset all your menu settings. the ringing,could be something more,coil on the buffer boards??? Check out http://www.shopjimmy.com/ they have tech assistance plus the best prices

Tv projection lamp inside the tv less than 2 years or so?Yes than the tv projection Lamp is good.You have this tv like 3 or 4 years already?The tv colors wheel even have been replace at leat once?No the tv probally require replacing the colors wheel these tv have to replaced the colors wheel every now and than.

This DLP tv have a colors wheel.No,the colors wheel is dying,just not dead yet.It spinning off of it motor axis,when it total dead it will have black&white pics,very loud squiling motor noises.Ur tv need a new colors wheel.Call the tv repair tech for this job,require take out many machanicals parts,before even can take the colors wheel to replaced.Never done this before,don't atemp to replaced the colors wheels ur self.

Commonly for plasma tv's if the screen went out,,the problem will be the CATHODE RAY TUBE,it is costly to buy.if you want you can buy it,,or it may be the D-board problem will be also,,,
but it is unusual,so check the tube.

This is a High Tension "Leak" this is a frequent occurance, it is the High Voltage drive to the screen that causes it. really you should have it looked at by a professional serviceman get a firm "Quote" for any fix before you proceed.

If its a DLP tv its the color wheel, If its a conventional rear projection sounds like flyback.

It sounds to me as though your old HDTV has a HD tuner built in. Not all HDTVs do and unfortunately your LG does not (I looked it up).

If you want to get free over the air HD you will need to buy a HD digital tuner box and an HD antenna.

check your sharpness setting, it should be very low and even in the negatives possibly on a plasma. I was told the sharpness option was for crt tube tv's anyway

According to the Samsung website: "The high pitched sound you hear is probably coming from the flyback transformer. The flyback transformer converts the relatively low voltage electricity that comes from the outlet in your home to the high voltage electricity needed to drive the cathode ray tube in your TV. It is not unusual for a flyback transformer to buzz softly when it operates. However, if the sound is loud and high pitched, it probably means the transformer is failing. To eliminate the sound, you will have to get your TV serviced."

Sounds like a CRT (picture tube) that did suffer a bit of a blow to it. The rings are caused by the thin sheet of steel inside of the CRT called a shadow mask being warped. The other cause for this is the internal degauser in the TV comming on and staying on too long causing damage to the CRT. Either way the CRT is over $400 plus you will need to find out what caused the issue and repair that first.
