Nortel Phone Template

Remember to hit "Feature" first. Dialing **7827887 by itself does nothing.
EG;
1 - Feature **7827887 (STARTUP)
2 - Enter installer password 266344 (CONFIG)
3 - Change to template desired (square, hybrid, or PBX)
4 - Press NEXT to apply the template

Edit: Make sure you have access to the phone pool as admin and that there are no restrictions set on the phone itself. The same thing was happening to others and was detailed here

Hi....you need to push "feature" button at the top of the phone, then * * 2-3-6-4-6 (a.d.m.i.n ), then when phone asks for password, press 2-3-6-4-6 again, default, unless someone has programmed a different one. use the template link below, this fits over the row of keys on the right side of phone. push "next" until you get to "date and time", and then with a combination of "show" and "change" you can get to change time . try it and see how it goes. email me at [email protected] with questions. link is good for other commands as well. good luck

There is another way, do a FEATURE * * 2 6 6 3 4 4 Password is ADMIN (23646)
Then you will need the template:
You should see TERMINALS&SETS: Press the Enter SHOW SET:___ enter the extension Press the Enter Keep hitting NEXT till the name shows up and press change Type in the new name and press NEXT to save the change Hit RLS to exit programming

Each company uses its own voice encoding and technologies...
Nortel will only work on Nortel phone system.
