My compuer crashed now i can"t get router to work

Reset the router.Here is how:

Step 1 With the unit on, place a paper clip into the hole on the back on the unit labeled Reset.

reset.gif

Step 2 Hold paper clip down for 10 seconds and release.

Note: Do not repower unit during this procedure.

Step 3 The unit will reboot on its own. Once the WLAN light stops blinking, the unit is reset.

Resetting the router does not reset the firmware to an earlier version. It will change all settings back to factory defaults.

Note: The factory defaults username is admin, and there is no password.

I have tried removing battery and reinstalling. i have reset with button and have used new ac adapter. I get power to laptop but all it will do is the power light blinks like in standby mode. it will not...

Due to regular use of the notebook, some static charges tend to stay in the computer, and sometimes results in not allowing the computer to function properly.

Please follow the power drain procedure to confirm the same:

1. Disconnect the AC Adapter.
2. Remove the Battery.
3. Hold the Power button down for 30seconds to 1 minute.
4. Put the Battery in.
5. Reconnect the AC adapter.
6. Turn on the Notebook power.
7. Restart the Notebook.

Please get back with the results.

The intel (R) adapters are not present in the computer

Intel adapters I am familiar with are integral to the mother board, which is not to say Intel doesn't make other types of adapters. Look at the device manager and if you find it there, remove the device and reboot.

If they are PCI based, physically remove them - boot - test your computer - shut down. Restart - reinstall the software. Shut down - reinstall the PCI device (or what ever Intel has told you to do with this NIC

Hi,

Please follow these steps for unlocking your iPod;
Please plug in the I POD to the compuer using the USB cable as first, you have to enable showing hidden files and folders to do it;
Click start-> MY COMPUTER(On the compuer screen)

Go to "Tools", "Folder Options". Then click on the tab called "View", and under "Hidden Files and Folders", click "Show Hidden Files and Folders", click OK.

Now, plug your iPod to your computer. You will see your iPod in "My computer" as a removable drive. Open it by double clicking, go to "iPod_Control" folder ,then "Device" folder. You will see file named "_volumelocked", please delete it.

Eject your iPod. Then, restart your iPod, You can do this by holding down the center and menu button for at least 5-6 seconds. Your iPod screen will go black and then you will see a Apple logo.
After reboot, you will have no limitations about sound.

Once your iPod has rebooted, check and make sure that it worked. Simply go into "Settings", "Volume Limit". If it asks for a PIN, you did it WRONG. Retry the above procedure.

Oil on sprark plugs

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Remove the valve cover, using the proper procedures.
  3. Remove the camshaft, shims and rockers, if equipped, using the proper procedures.
  4. Remove the spark plugs.
  5. Rotate the engine to Top Dead Center (TDC) for each cylinder's seals that are being replaced; e.g., if replacing the No. 2 cylinder valve seals, have the No. 2 cylinder at TDC. Use a coat hanger put down into the cylinder to determine when it is at TDC.
  6. Attach a fixture at the flywheel or the front of the engine to prevent the engine from rotating. Make sure the fixture damages no components.
  7. Thread an adapter into the spark plug holes that can be hooked up to a shop compressor air hose.
  8. Apply 90 psi of shop compressor air to the adapter hose. This is done to keep the valves from dropping down into the cylinder when the valve springs are removed.
CAUTIONTo avoid personal injury, wear eye and ear protection. Keep hands and clothing away from engine parts that rotate, in case the engine does rotate from the cylinder air pressure.
  1. With the cylinder under pressure, remove the valve spring retainer and the spring, using a spring compressor tool. Hitting the spring retainer with a soft hammer may help loosen the valve keepers, if the keeper will not move downward when trying to compress the spring.
  2. With the valve spring removed, remove the oil seal.
To Install:
  1. Install a new seal, using Toyota Special Service Tool (SST) 09201-41020, or equivalent.
  2. Reinstall the valve springs (See Valves).
  3. Release the air pressure and reverse the removal procedures to complete installation.
  4. Connect the negative battery terminal, start the engine and check for leaks.
