Green spots we have green spots on each corner of our 61 inch screen which are only noticable with white back ground but does not affect the rest of the picture. Can you trll us what this and canit be repaired or ajusted

check the power setting in your system on the right side task bar. where u ll find it. change the setting of that power consumption thn chk it out.!!!

This may be a main board issue if the green spot moves. This is repairable. This may be a panel issue if it does not move and it is present on the panasonic splash screen and if it affects the osd menu.

All LCD TVs (except the newer LED versions) are back lite on the edges of the TV. Depending on how faint the image is you may simply be noticing the lights. Try adjusting the backlight or brightness.
Without an image this is the best I can do.

I would say the crt's are at the end of their life.

a green light is the power indicator, a red light is when the protector is in affect

"eprom upgrade" by a Panasonic tech will solve your problem...

IN your statement says tv is second hand and also you tried degausser method also. The problem is permanent magnetic field affected your tv set. So the best recovery is fix one button magnet in the affected area.

Hello, inside the set there is an optical unit with 3LCD panels. Somehow the dust particles came into your set and now the dust is all over the optical unit and 3LCD panels. Only way to solve this issue is to clean the dust. Please contact your Sony dealer. Best regards, Arpi

Easy fix. I had the same green spot problem with PT-52LCX65 and I removed the front panel (no screws). In the center is a panel that has two screws. Remove them and pull the cover off. There you will find the projection bulb. Do not clean the bulb but instead the base. Use a damp cloth to wipe the dust off the black disk (the base of the projection bulb housing). Apparently the dust through static electricity may cause enough magnetism to distort your picture. Hope this helps.
