C0500 error code

I am also facing this trouble, with Di3510. some time machine work for many copies fine. then suddenly the 0500 error code appear. I checked complete fuser unit... Both lamps are ok, Thermo switch is ok, i checked both thermistors and in my view they are ok (checked with multimeter while warming them). I first reset the code as mentioned in the service manual of this machine. the code can remove but it comes back after some time. I checked the Electricity voltage as this machine is 120v input. Voltage are ok. Then i ask my Electronic board expert to check the Power supply and he told me that the power supply is ok... just some dry sold he found. So until now i am not able to detect the trouble even though i arranged another fuser unit of the same machine and it also gave the same error code c0500. As i am a Technision of copiers. Please give any good suggestion if any one have. Thanks

First open the right side cover where the image unit is located. Check the two latches that latch the door ensure they are not broken, especially the rear one. Then get a paper clip and stick the clip in the small hole on the right side of the control panel it will touch a switch. The control panel will go thru some screens when you see the screen with the copiers on it on the left side of the screen in the middle you will see a small "." When the dot appears touch 3 button. Then the machine will continue to the code screen. Press the Utility button you should see a new button "Maintenance Mode" touch it then touch trouble reset. The machine will again go thru screens will see the"." again do nothing. Should go ready to Copy. If the code comes back do not reset, you are messing with the Fuser the Hot part. Continuing to reset without a technician looking at and or replacing it, the fuser can catch on fire and that would ruin a perfectly good day.

C-0500 code mean no power to the fuser inside mid cover front is a micro switch that provides the power to the fuser unit

How can i remove error code in dialta 2510 is show c0500 error

Sir/Mam, First ensure the right side cover is closed correctly closed also check that the two latches that are located on the door are not broken especially the rear one. Then fine a paper clip. With the machine on look on the right side of the control panel you will find a small hole. Place the paper clip inside the hole. (Once that is done you can never use that paper clip ever again :) Copier tech humor!) Watch the screen you might see abort code that OK. When the screen come on that show the copiers look to the left of the screen in the middle a small "." will appears when it does press 3. Nothing going to happen. Code will come back. Now press the Utility button you should now see a button marked maintenance mode. Press it then press trouble reset. Once again will go though its normal warm up will see the "." do not do anything. Ready to Copy Should appear. If the code comes back do not reset the code you messing with the fuser (The Hot part). It can catch on fire (That would ruin a perfectly good day) so have a technician look at it.

Check the Fuser Unit - the part that heats up and melts the toner to the paper.

clean the contacts for the fuser lamp first.
tip

Minolta Di250, Di350 series C0500 C-0500 code reset procedure

C0500 is a fuser warm up failure code. The procedure to reset is simple. First look at the right side edge of your control panel. This is where the meter count is and the "slide" that controls how dark/bright your display screen is. Now just to the left or front side of where the slide is you will see a small hole in the panel. You need a small paper clip or a tooth pick to insert into the hole. Next with the machine turned on and showing the code, insert something into the hole until the screen goes blank and begins to restart. You should see something that resembles the copier sitting on top of the globe. Keep watching the screen and at the far left side of the screen there will appear a small dot. As soon as the dot appears press the 3 key. You should now see a screen with several boxes. At the lower left is "Trouble Reset" - Press this box to reset the code. Do this reset procedure ONLY 1 time for every 10 minutes. If the code comes back you can try again in 10 miutes. If the fuser is heating and the machine just can not "see" it then you can do further damage to the machine if you try to reset several times very quickly. If the machine warms up and makes copies you are all set. If the code comes back you have a failure in the fusing unit and will need it repaired.
This procedure works on the Di250 Di250F Di251 Di251F Di350 Di350F Di351 Di351F.

Code bizhub c350

Mam,
Open the front door lay down on the floor and look up at the section that is slanted (close to hinge side of the front door) Fine the small hole with the machine on, fine a small non metalic stick and in-cert into the small hole touching the small switch which will re-set the machine for C-0500 codes. Do this once if the code comes back replace the fuser, DO NOT RE-SET again messing with FUSER can catch on fire will ruin a perfectly good day.

My di3510 is indicating "error code c0500, how can I reset it?

It cannot be reset if there is something wrong with your fusing unit or your power source in your place. try checking if the fusing unit is properly closed or try to look inside of it, maybe there is something blocking the thermostat. in resetting there is a small hole in the right side of the control panel, poke it with pin (just to make it click) this is during power on. then look at the screen on the left side there is a image of the machine there will be a dot appear right after you poke the switch. then quickly press the no. 3 button, then option panel will appear, if it has a code, try entering 8 zeroes or ones then enter. if you are already in, there is an option that says "TROUBLE RESET" you are freely to stare it. hehe. just select and wait, it will restart. if power shortage, buy AVR.

What causes Error code 0500

Fusing Unit Heating problem. Meaning that the fuser is not heating up as it should. This unit is located right where the paper exits the machine, behind the left side door that opens. The most common failure that causes the code is the thermal fuse. When the fuse blows it cuts the power to the heater lamp. When the machine does not see the proper temperature within a specific amout of time the C0500 code comes up. Good news is it is a $5 part. Only bad news is you will need a service tech to remove the fusing unit, replace the part, then clear the C0500 code from the copier memory.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
